    Warning to new sleeves

Sorry you went through this, but everyone is different with surgery stages. Ive been lucky to not have any problems at all, thank god! I m almost 4 weeks out and baked some pork chops , i chewed and chewed and luckily it went down very well. I agree though listen to your doctor. This surgery is all about trial and error because everyone is different.
  2. Hi everyone , just wondering which kind of scale do you use ? My manual scale says in 5 pounds less than my digital one. Could this be true?

Denial- any ideas on how to win approval

Hi i won an appeal with Anthem BCBS but not because of BMI, Oh thats a hard one but if you have other health reasons as to why then i suggest you fight to get what you want. My denial was investiongational although i appealed it took them 30 days to overturn the denial and approve my sleeve. Good luck to you

    I have a DATE!!

I finally got my date January 6,2011 , its just 2 weeks away to start my new journey!! Im so excited and hoping all goes wekk with surgery even though im no stranger to surgery after 2 c sections, gall bladder, 3 hernia's repaired. Im looking forward to sharing my experience with you all soon. My surgeon only requires a 2 day pre op diet of liquids which is great to hear especially after seeing that some require 2 weeks of liquids. Wish me luck
