  6. i think lissa answered this question well and someone else did too. its not so much as what you cant have but its more of what you dont want. i was addicted to pepsi & juice before. id drink about 3 cups if juice a day & 2-3 cups of pepsi a day. im now 10 months post op & too much sugar makes me nauseous (juice) & i stopped soda pre op & have no desire to try it! you get to a point where you try some things & it makes you sick so you no longer crave it but if you do, you try it again & learn the hardway until you no longer want it. i can sip juice but after a few sips, im like blaaaaah! too much sugar. i like to stick to Water.
  7. i did mine alone with just my mom & even had complications & was hospitalized! my boyfriend of 10yrs was out living his club life & expected me to stick around. yes we r back together now but not without me getting payback for the hell he put me thru. i basically moved on after 10yrs of only being with him & he beggd & pleaded for me back. after 2months, i gave in. its been 4 months & he isnt allowed to go clubbing unless im there. by the way, ill 9months post op on the 20th & im down 109lbs! from 273 to 164
  8. hopefully soon youll be able to!! its crazy that i fit that jacket. i think im smaller than i realize because i wouldve thought that i wouldve needed to lose a lot more to fit that jacket. i tried it on expecting it to be too tight & me saying to myself "well u knew it wouldnt fit" but i put it on 123 with no problem & sat there with big eyes just shocked! lol
  9. lol i almost cant wait until winter!!! lol
  10. i had a NSV today! i bought this reeeally cute dressy trench coat like 6+yrs ago. when i bought it, it was really snug but it still "fit". i figured id lose more weight & itll fit good. then i gained weight & literally couldnt put an arm in the sleeve. well, i just tried it on & it FITS!!! like its even a lil big but asize smaller would be snug. im like so shocked right now. it feels good to know that im doing what i set out to do!
  11. i know exactly what you mean! im 8 months & 11 days post op. i started at 273lbs. my mini goals went like this: 1st - 250lbs. 2nd - 235lbs. 3rd - 220lbs. 4th - 199lbs. 5th - 185lbs. 6th - 175lbs. 7th - 165lbs. 8th - 155lbs. 9th - 145lbs. 10th - 135lbs. today, i weigh 164lbs! im down 109lbs in total. i have 3 more mini goals to reach in order to meet my main goal.
  12. being a sleeve patient, it isnt a good idea to take a water pill. you will become very dehydrated and would need constant water to stay hydrated. maybe 3-6x more than drs recommend to us.
  13. i have to admit that it was killing me but you dont have to comment about it. some things are better left unsaid.
