just wanted to say Hello..... it's been a while... so much going on.  

A couple of minor victories this morning...

Not only did the scale move (just a wee bit, but it moved below 216! Hallelujah!) but I also pooped without chemical inducement! I'm not ready to say that I've gotten past the stall, but I have a little hope. 

It's going to be a good day!

Hi I  am new here and I am going to have the gastric sleeve next month. I have to pay out of pocket so it is going quite quickly. The longer I wait the more bad stories I hear. I weigh 315 and 61 years old so I have a lot to lose. Any advice is welcome

I had my Bypass Surgery on 04/25/2019 I'd weighted before surgery 308 and now 285. I get depressed because I thought it would be more. I follow all instructions from Dr.. Green walk every day work out and eating solid foods

I was 235 lbs on Oct 10th, 2018.  Six and a half months later, I have shed the equivalent of my 13 year old daughter. 

That's just CRAZY 😮!!!

I have decided to pursue WLS & I am currently researching, gaining all the information I can. I am attending a WLS seminar through one of the local medical groups this evening and hope it to be the first step in the process. ☘️

3 days post op from the sleeve - seems to be going smoothly

6 months today! 96.9 lbs lost since the 2wk pre-op liquid diet

Knee injury is not timely. Set back and I have a Marathon in May

Gastric banded March 2013, lost lbs. Had removed Dec. 2016 due to complications of hernia. Had band removed with fundoplication.

Gained back weight wasn't happy. Started journey again cause i was determined so on had 1Feb 2019, nissen takedown with hernia repair with Roux-en-y gastric bypass! 

Hi, Newbie here, looking forward to everything!!!

So its been a while but i am officially one year out. I did have a 3 month illness with DVT not sure if it was surgery related, I do feel that is one of the reasons I'm not as far as I should be. I am thankful to lost the 73lbs that I am down. I am currently waiting for the weather to change so I can get back to walk,

This is completely unreal but two days in a row now I have seen less than 200 pounds on the scale for the first time in over 15 years. I am a pound away from my first goal of 199 at 13.5 months post op. Time to set a new goal for the New Year!

I am so HAPPY TODAY.... I am just 4 pounds away from my all time GOAL.  I reached my goal within 8 MONTHS!!!!!  GOING FROM 245 TO 135... YES!!!!!

I am beyond amazed.  At 2.5 months post-op, I am officially more than halfway to goal this morning.

58.4 lbs down, 56.6 lbs to go.

Yay me ☺️

I went against my weekly weigh in and cheated today the scale says I'm 248 😂How? Maybe it's wrong lol I just purchased the scale and it's my first time using it. I'll weigh my daughter to see if it's accurate. I was 255 this time last week so I guess it's a real possibility. I'll let you know , I have been very picky about sugars and carbs even though I don't have a huge variety of foods to choose from. I'm super excited and hope everyone is doing great! Got to charge my iPad but I just had to share my happiness 

So sorry about yesterday's venting, bad day, frustrated my husband was sweet, put up our Christmas  Tree.  God news this morning, I received my insurance approval.  '

After having my surgery date moved twice, I will be first case Monday morning, December 17th!  Hooray!  Thank you for listening!

Doc sent me pictures of my surgery done yesterday... ummm thinking I will wait for a bit before looking at those..
