  1. Glad to read about others who are having the same issues...thanks guys!
  2. i was glad to see your post. gained 2 lbs today and was so bummed out.
  3. im in the same boat,im 6 wks out and i keep bouncing from 10 to 12 lbs lost.i feel discouraged, thats why im on here trying to look for answers, ive been on weight watchers and lost 30 before the band,i feel like the 10-12 i couldve done on my own.and ive been excercising as well. hang in there, your not alone marie
  4. i know this is an old post but were any groups formed in this area?
  5. thanks, i too have stopped taking the Omega 3 because theyre huge. ill have to look for smaller ones. im with ya on the depression thing.i read all these post about losing so much in the beginning and ive lost like 12 lbs so far.im having issues with the Protein thing too. gross!
  6. just tried a product called "OH Yeah!" 32g of Protein 220 cal 4 carbs no bad at all.Im having an issue with all these Protein drinks.that taste just grosses me out. so if i can drink one of these a day,ive got half my protein grams out of the way and the dont tate too bad
  7. ugh, i feel crappy. all bloated and uncomfortable and im already sick of protein shakes anyone else?
  8. its still about diet and excersize, with or without the band.its not magic. McDonalds is certainly not going to help anyone who is trying to lose weight. you should be staying away from fatty foods. try follow a plan like weight watchers.you can basically eat all things but in moderation. Its all about making smart choices. good luck to you
  9. how are you feeling today?
  10. what is it that youve been snacking on that would make you gain? i havent had my surgery yet and im just trying to get a feel of what people are saying about it.seems a lot of people are have a slow start which is amazing to me since its just liquids at first.Ive been on weight watchers and have lost 30 since feb, i was thinking the band would be a quicker loss for people.this is all so interesting
  11. Thats great!!!! those little things mean so much, dont they??
  12. Thanks, keep me posted on how your feeling.Although im pretty sure your a lot younger than me and handling it better lol
  13. yes, they sound like theyre going to be real hard.Ive been doing weight watchers since feb and lost 30 lbs.so then i bounce back and forth between thinking maybe ill just stay on that but i know i have a hard time keeping it off.Ive looked at the forums on their site from lap banders and some of the post were not encouraging. Talking about bands slipping and having problems..yikes! thats all i need. i have heel spurs in both feet so the walking can be a challenge for me too at times,i think me being lazy is more of a problem lol
