How long after surgery before your first bowel movement.

5th day post op
ugh, i feel crappy. all bloated and uncomfortable and im already sick of protein shakes anyone else?

Discouraged with the band.
its still about diet and excersize, with or without the band.its not magic. McDonalds is certainly not going to help anyone who is trying to lose weight. you should be staying away from fatty foods. try follow a plan like weight watchers.you can basically eat all things but in moderation. Its all about making smart choices. good luck to you

Hyperthyroidism..
hi, i have been both hyper and hypo,i actually gained weight being hyper also.the Dr said there was a small chance that could happen and i was one of the lucky ones lol. i had thyroid cancer when i was in my early 20's and will be on meds the rest of my life.As long as they can regulate your levels,it shouldnt be a problem at all. I have always been on sythroid and havent had a problem other than some Dr's over the years not knowing what theyre doing.
