You are doing excellent! I have lost 30 in 8 weeks so I am sooo jealous. I really wanted to get to the 40 pound mark by my 2nd month. But I go today and pray she will give me a second fill. I have only had one and that was only 2 ccs. Good luck and keep us posted!

And dont worry Little Roo is watching over yall in kitty heaven. I just put down my 15 year old Retriever, Colby, I may as well been burying my child. Couldnt believe how much I cried. Things will get better, just keep looking toward the summer and that awesome new swimsuit you get to slide into! Have a great day!

my dr said the same thing, eat the dark meat part of the chicken. its not as hard to get down. Congratulations on your success! I was banded on 12/7 and I am down 28 trying very hard to reach my goal of 40 by Feb 7. Got boat season coming up in May and I with an avg of 20 per mth, I will be able to get a nice swimsuit. Good Luck and keep up the great work!

I went for my 2 wk post op Dr visit and she said that I can start eating fish, crab, etc. I boiled some shrimp and it was a little difficult to get down because they were pretty tough and I may not have chewed enough. So stick to the soft stuff like fish and crab.

I mashed up the noodles in to mush. Then I added water. I was VERY careful on how I ate. If I took a spoon of broth with a few chopped up noodles, then I followed it with just broth. Today is day 4 and I can have my protein tomato soup. Looking forward to that today

Thanks everyone.. The surgery went VERY well. I was at hospital by 7 am and they took me back at 7:15 and hooked up my IV about 8:30 they took me in and was finished with the surgery about 45min later. Doc said everything went really well. They gave me a patch behind my ear and meds in my iVfor nausea before I woke up. I have NOT had ANY nausea!!! I was so frantic over that. The nurses started me on water and crytal light, but I kept burping up the crystal light so I am holding off on drinking that. Water was good enough. Had chicken broth for breakfast and beef broth for supper with sugar free jello. I am home now drinking water and vitamin water. I acutally gained about 3 pounds, but im sure thats because everything is still swollen. have to drink clear liquids til saturday and then I can have soups, cream soups, and milk in my coffee. I am so excited that I have not been hungry once in the last 2 days! Good Luck to everyone that has upcoming surgeries. I hope yours goes as well as mine!

What kind of shake are you drinking? Some of them have a slimey texture and they make me feel sick also. Try Muscle Milk or Muscle Milk Light. They have a great taste. I have no problem drinking those all day, and once I blend them up they stay pretty blended the rest of the day.

be careful with the calcium supplement. When I was taking it and my dr took blood work he said that my calcium was high and to stop taking it. Too much calcium in the blood can cause irregular heart beats. He said for me to just get on a GOOD multivitamin and I should be good to go.

I was in the same boat you are. I dropped my calories down to 900, eat sugar free jello and pudding for snacks, and walk atleast 3 miles a day. then the pounds started coming back off again.
