  1. @raine will do! good luck next week. Soon u will be numbered among the losers! Godspeed
  2. @empress. Go ahead belt it out! Maybe I should get that for my iPod for the trip. It could be my theme song! Kinda like when wrestlers enter the arena and their song plays while they give high fives and air waves to the fans on their way to the ring. Hmmm I might have to talk to my coordinator. I can see it now.... *enter dream sequence, blury vision music starts, focus returns, que announcer* and in this corner, in the pale blue open backed gown, weighing in at 270lbs, from Oklahoma pas-----qui------niiiiiiii!!!!!!! *all the other patients going wild, creating a throng as I wave and sign autographs, stopping to take a picture with a baby or two (though I can't imagine why someone has brought their child to the clinic, sheesh people!) lights are flashing, camera's are snapping away, clothing is being thrown, (oops wrong dream sequence, sry about that folks)* then the announcer breaks in and in this corner refusing to weigh in, coming all the way from inside the land of gastrouka, undefeated, heavy weight champion of the buffet world, "The Stom------ach" today bout will go 1 50 minute round, loser leaves the other alone forever! Crowd goes wild!!!!!!!* (end dream sequence). Or something like that.
  3. Major inner voice uprising today. I finally subdued the peasant and threaten him with starting the liquid preop early if he didn't leave me alone! so I am booking my flight tonight may 10 here I come!
  4. Thx everyone for the encouragement. Ironic how much our minds sabotage us.
  5. Wow! That's fantastic. So fast. I hope it's like that for me. Heck for all of us!
  6. I have been looking at Mexico for a long time. Just didn't think it would be this soon. I went and bought a case of Isopure clear protien today for the clear stage. Also getting ready to make several soup bases to freeze in daily portions so I done have to do any of that the first week. I am starting an all liquid preop on the 26th.

  9. Congratulations! I am going to Dr Almanza the 10th of may. Very excited and nervous as well.
  10. Yup, that's the voice, u been in my head? Kinda nice in there huh?
  11. So after 4 years oF wanting wls, and 2 yrs of active research. I have a date and I am trying to talk myself out of it. All morning I have been reminding myself of all the other things I "should do with this kinda money" feeding myself the "is this the beat use of it" question. Somewhere in there I know it is, I didn't expect to attack myself on this. Lol. Whew. I just need to hang in there and stay focused. Right? Pasquini.
  12. how is the liquid going? I start my 2 week preop liquid on the 29th soo not looking forward to it..
  13. Me? Yea I am having the sleeve just seems to make so much more sense.
  14. Heck, yeah. I paid more for my motor cycle! Looking forward to bein a sleek GTO.
  15. Congrats. Yes I get the emotions and such. I have been bouncing around in my head all day. I'm sure it will increase as the day approaches but I am focusing on my kids and how much freaking fun. We r gonna have when I am able to go and do whatever they want! I can't wait! Here's to our being big ol losers!!!! Woot!
  16. Btw, how r u doing so far?
  17. I'll keep ya posted. Thx for the recommendation. I spoke with her this morning and felt good about the choice. My sister is going with me and is a vegetarian and Nina was very assuring that that would not be te slightest problem that she would be as well cared for as I would be. I'm gonna start a video blog next week and document everything. Thx again
  18. Well I love to cook so I am tryin to figure way to continue cooking and enjoying that with the new restrictions. I love Pho (Vietnamese soup) so I am thinking I can make some of that, and maybe some basic chicken stock.
  19. I plan to video the trip so people considering Mexico can get a real feel for the process and know what to expect. I suppose I will set up a YouTube channel. I'll post a link once it's up.
  20. My surgery is May 14th for those of u that have been through this already, I have a question for u. During the clear stage. How much broth do I need? I am planning to make a giant pot of homemade broth. An strain it and freeze ahead. But don't know how much I will need for those 7-10 days. Any thoughts. I figure I can produce better nutrient dense broth than in a can. Pasquini
  21. May 14th! I have gone from not know if I would ever be able to afford this, to a date in less that a month. I am going to Jerusalem clinica in TJ. I plan to begin a video blog this coming week. Pasquini
  22. I have emailed with Nina, looking at possibly may 14th! Holy cow! I have gone from not sure when I would be able to do this, to wow look at my tax return, I'm going next month!
  23. Husky2healthy. Bwaha. I so wore those. Lol. Man it hated those. Those and rustler. Yes it certainly seem that women are the majority around here. Whuch I'm ok with I suppose. I went to a mostly womens college in the south, which worked out very well unless u got stuck holding the door after chapel, u were there holding the door for 10 min unless some other fella was dumb enough to try to walk through it. Lol
  24. Quints: I wanted to ask u a question or two. I two have been looking into the doctors u used. I suppose there are various coordinators. I basically clicked on the advertisement link here on the main page that advertises for 4499.00. Ive begun talking with Melissa, in the info she sent me it says they do not over sew the suture line, u mentioned that they did all three methods (which I think I like the idea of) u did go to Jerusalem clinics correct? Dr Mario almanza? Thanks Pasquini
  25. I'm sorta in is this real mode. Good luck and Godspeed on Ur surgery.
