  6. Congrats on your weightLOSS!!! .. and for that I WILL HAVE TO SAY u should never THINK U SHOULDNT HAVE HAD THE SURGERY!! u are almost half way to ur goal! I think:) I am speaking from the side of someone who had a changing life surgery " I had the band" I felt miserable for the first 2 month!! and kept saying why did I do that to myself!! how can I deprive myself from the one thing that gave me joy!! "cause it was actually the one thing I enjoy" now I am proceeding to another surgery!! and more restrictive one from the pics I saw from ppl posting what they ate as a sleevers. But I know I will feel crappy for a while after that but then the ouctome will be awesome just like urs!! This feeling of regretting or thinking you shouldnt have had the surgery will fade away as soon as u know that u can start enjoying more things in life other than food:) and I am sorry about your husband but I am sure he will regret it too!! as soon as he sees the changes more and more:) U will be both able to have more activities now in ur life and I think more enjoyable stuff;) Cheer up! this will pass!! and celebrate your huge progress:) I am sorry I am still not sleeved to answer your after surgery Questions!! just wanted to share what I know cause I have been there:)

  9. oh:) Congrats:) and glad you are feeling better:)) Enjoy your new life:)
  10. I love expedia.com and travelocity used them on my last trips:)
  11. The main reason I asked for the reasons in the first place is to ASSURE myself I am not just too lazy!! Cause everywhere I go online I find everyone with revision is just doing it after having severe complications! But I never find one person like me! did it for been stalled for too long and for another "Naive" reason, which is never been able to have a good breakfast! it has always been a challenge for me! Can you believe running your day on a BITE! Just one bite?! I have learned to deal with my hunger strikes, unless I am having a wedding so close I can go to the extreme one bite at breakfast, no lunch, a snack of latte` and 2 oz of salmon sashimi at dinner! then I hit low energy levels! I will never say the band wasnt a bless for me! it was. I am actually gonna miss it! "OR as I think for now" but I asked the question just to know.. if I am too weak.. or spoiled as I sometimes see myself.. or am I having good reasons to do it! I have been stalled for too long, I have been trying to live a happy life for too long but my weight has always stopped me. Some of my friends told me that the see me beautiful but I am the one who is always building borderlines so no one can reach me cause I am afraid! cause of my weight.. others have told me that I impress a lot of guys but I still give them the impression that I cant be with them cause I am fat! I have been single for almost so long! I was even in more relationships while I was heavier! cause then I never consider myself fat! I was always thinking yeah I am big but I am beautiful! now I think I am big and getting old and losing my beauty! I am crazy I know just wanted to let it out, So I really wish I can get over this weight and start living .. Anyway thanks u all for always been great really u are the best! The good news is my surgery is scheduled for this saturday! )) I will post a day before it to remind u to keep me in ur good thoughts:) thanks sooo much for the pre op/decision making phase support!

  15. Thanks dear.. again I dont live anywhere near where these things can be sampled:)) I checked the thread... Here are couple of Vitamins (chewable that I got) are they good? do I need more? I am sorry for asking too many questions
  16. Thanks a lot for the info! I tried couple before on my band journey and I was disgusted! last one I tried a year ago made me feel what u are talking about! Nausea and gas in my stomach! I was worried something was seriously wrong with my band and I have to cut my drive to the gym back home and stayed unwell for like 2 hours.. then I was never back to any Protein shake! But after loooooooots of reading on here and on OH I figured I wont be able to make it without protein shakes! and I went and purchased this one from a pharmacy .. we dont have GNC here were I live.. I am in the mid dle east u know? So I wont think they will take it back unless I didnt open it.. which I didnt! I never had a lactose intolerance! I drink a cup of latte every day with skimmed milk and I enjoy milk stuff .. so I dont know how can I have this feeling u are describing with Protein shakes and still can manage other milk stuff?.. I think I am stuck with this one even if tasted horrible.. my only concern was the back statement "not for weight reduction" and the nutrition value as I am new to this! I didnt know there was evil shakes until I read this board:) Now I cant think of anyway to get through my liquid stage after I have my surgery, if this doesnt work :S PS: calling my doctor tomorrow to know my surgery date!! SO excited! and Tiff. I decided the last thing I will think of before been put under anesthesia is ur success story )
  17. Thats an amazing moment and I completely understand how she sees u on daily basis but still got confused! it is the brain image she had of u:)) thats amazing! and a very special moment for u!! I am so happy for u XO
  18. Welcome back:)) and CONGRATS:) hope the gas pain fades away soon:)
  19. Finger crossed! what really made me come back is that small statement written in the back saying: not for weight reduction! LOL
  20. you got me laughing soo loud at the intercom part!! LOL Glad u are fine now:) and hope everything keeps going well!!
  21. wow! best feeling ever!!))) I am happy for u!
  22. I generally hate protein shakes! but I know I will have to reply on them soon! So I wont care about the taste anymore! I just mean is it good or bad nutrition wise?
  23. Here is the link to the Protein shake I purchased: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2944029 Is it good or bad?! Thanks:)
  24. I wish someone would answer that question too?.. whats the difference between the post op pain and the leak pain or something serious?!
