It took me almost a week and a half after surgery! I felt sooooo bad, I had taken miralax, ducolax, the on call doctor even told me to take magnesium citrate- none of it worked. Then I took Milk of Magnesia and in less than an hr, I had a BM that continued all day lol.

My mom is having surgery on the 25th. I had my sleeve done in April. She has been so supportive along the way and now I'm trying to support her through it. I think we are going to have some friendly competition once she's sleeved. I'm about 4lbs smaller than she is so I know she is going to drop weight so fast. I think it has motivated me alot. I do think we are alot closer, especially once she had to start the liquid pre-op diet. I think it will help overall to have someone to share this experience with.

Lol, I'm from Texas. It's a paper license, which now includes the pic (I was completely shocked by that one) and the new one takes 30 days t come in. I think my face looks kinda fat on my new pic but I still like it alot better than my older pic lol.

This morning I went to Have my license renewed, it was pretty awesome! They lady who helped me and took my pic just kept going on and on about how my new pic was sooo pretty and whatnot and how I looked like a different person. Let me just say I love my new pic alot more lol! This has been my favorite NSV!

The gas pains are the one thing that I will never forget, I know how you feel. I had to take gas-x ultra strength and my pain meds to get at least 5 hours of sleep. The pains wore off at about 4 weeks out. I hope that your's doesn't last that long. Walking didn't really help with my gas pains, but others have said it helped them.
