I'm FREEZING cold
Same here about being cold. I went to the movies today and of course took off my coat and scarf as soon as I sat down. Maybe 5 minutes into the movies I was freezing. I looked around to see if anyone else was cold. Nope as a matter of fact I saw several people with short sleeve shirts on, I tried to tough it out,but I finally had to put my coat, scarf, and gloves on and was still freezing. I take being cold over being obese any day of the week tho!!!! Deb

$500 non-refundable fee ???? Are you kidding?
Hey VBG, I too have Dr, Hoehn as my surgeon. He is worth every penny spend. With that being said. I too was told at the seminar there is a $500 nonrefundable fee for the support group...etc. However, when I submitted my paperwork, the insurance case manager called and told me because of their contract with my insurance company I didn't have to paid the 500 bucks. I would have paid it anyway becuz I wanted my surgery, but I didn't have too. So what I am saying is maybe your insurance company might have a contract with Dr. H too. You will never know until you submit your paperwork. Good luck!!! Deb

Welcome and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!! Hopefully you will be getting your sleeve in March. Good luck and best wishes. Deb- 3 Hours Till Sleeve!
Best wishes and good luck on a smooth operation and a speedy recovery. Deb- HOW BAD DOES IT REALLY HURT after surgery?
Each person is different,so with that being said. I have had two pregnancies and my pain with childbirth was worse than my WLS. As a matter of fact after surgery I was feeling soooo good my first thougt was "DID I HAVE THE SURGERY." LOL. Again for every person who says their surgery wasn't that bad there's gonna be a equal amount of peple who say it was the worst, but I don't think you will find many peeps who regret having the surgery no matter how much pain they were in. Good luck!!! Deb- Tomorrow is my day too!!!
Good luck and best wishes!!!! Deb- Santa gave me "Onederland" for Christmas
CONGRATS!!!! Deb- Favorite protein bars
I love the bars and hot chocolate from Slim4Life. They are a bit pricey, but sooooo good. Really all of the bars I have tried are very good. They have about 15 grams of Protein in each bar and also the hot chocolate. The hot chocolate warms you up on these cold and snowy days and nights. Deb- Ok here I go...me at 168
It's all been said before, but........ AWESOME JOB!!!! Give yourself a BIG round of applause. Congrats on the weight loss. Your before and during pics are both cute!!!! Keep up the great work and you will be at goal in no time. Deb- SLEEVED this morning
CONGRATS!!!! You are officially a sleeve brotha. Sounds like you are off to a great start!! Doesn't it feel AWESOME? Welcome to the loser's club. Deb- It still hasn't sunk in yet.
Congrats Maddie. I just now ran across this thread and knew I had to respond. You have been truly inspirational to me. You are one of the first people I can remember when I joined this forum. I have been following you from the beginning of your journey and have been so impressed by you. Damn.... 100 pounds is a BIG milestone. I am sooo happy for you. You definitely have had some very tough times, but have come out a big WINNER. I am very proud of you. {{{{{{SUPER BIG HUGS}}}}} Deb- I am so embarrassed- not exercising
I right with you on that one. I walk and very little of that and that's about all I do!!! I know I need to tone up especially at my age, but I just don't want to. I too have Leslie Sansome's Walk away the Pounds and have access to WII Fit, but I am just not motivated to EVEN try them. My excuse is let me lose 10 or 15 more pounds and I will do more. I have lost over 115 pounds to date and ..... still no exercising. I want to be a exercise junkie, but wanting and doing are two separate things. Any suggestions, tips would be greatly appreciated by anyone!!! Deb - NSV!!!!!!!!!!!
