Look at all the people who do so good versus problems. Good luck on your big day!!

  12. How do you deal with negative people about your decision to have the sleeve. I have completed all this STUFF!! lol and studied and gone to meetings and read forums after forums. Book after book. Do they really think they are going to make me change my mind??!!or that I dont know what I am doing?? The thing that is really sad is its my sister. One of the things she also said was every weight loss patient gains their weight back eventually.I guess I sure dont need to use her for my support system. Good thing I have a great husband for that!
  13. It wasnt too bad at all. I got nervous before, just thinking of the throat thing and gagging or possibly puking.lol But they talked to me and started giving me the meds. I dont even know when the tube was started.lol But I was kind of awake and drowsy. Did not feel a thing. My husband helped me with my shoes and I held his arm and walked to the car. It could not have been smoother. And may I add a military facility. Eglin AFB,Fl. Super!
  14. I have had my nutrition class, seen the psychologist......got referrals.....blah,blah,blah.lol Now I finally meet my doctor Monday. Actually the appt. got moved up 3 weeks because they had a cancellation.I am so glad. Now I just wonder what I will have to do after I see him. I have had lots of ultrasounds during the past year as well as cat scans.and blood work.So hopefully there wont be much more to do. I really wanted to have my sleeve asap. But he will probably put me off till January.:/ Cant wait to start my journey!
  15. You are doing really well. I am new. I have not been sleeved yet, hopefully January. It is so nice to read about others on their journey. Keep posting!!
