no, it was definitely the liquid itself. just seemed like a shock when i tried to take the tiniest sip and it was cold. i did much better with the chicken broth. i'm on day two post op and feeling quite a bit better. i can drink any sort of temp. liquids now so it's been great.

day after... little uncomfy but doable. Having a hard time with temperature of liquids, which I was surprised about. The area of the drain is most tender!

How exciting! Congratulations... I feel hopeful reading about your trek. I have 10 days until I join you, so until then I will continue to read about what may be a part of my future!
