My facilitator said I will be on IV meds while in the hospital, including the antibiotic! Beats the people who have had to crush theirs! Uck!!! T.O.Y. means... thinking of you! Speedy recovery!!! mommaof4yoopers LAP-BAND Patients March 18, 201016 yr Author stats no, it was definitely the liquid itself. just seemed like a shock when i tried to take the tiniest sip and it was cold. i did much better with the chicken broth. i'm on day two post op and feeling quite a bit better. i can drink any sort of temp. liquids now so it's been great.
