If you did your research you would have learned that the band is just a tool to help you lose weight. It's not magic, it wont make you choose the right foods and if you eat slow enough you can still eat way more than you really need. It helps me to be satisfied on smaller portions of food so I consume less calories than I put out, hopefully anyways with exercise!
  3. going 4 hours? I would pass as well on a fill. I don't even go 4 hours between meals without feeling hungry but it's a fine line for me from being just right to being too tight. I choose to be looser.

Of course I did!! I went up and down in weight that I had 5 sizes in my drawers! I was always bummed when I missed out on a pair of pants that were now too big. But on the bright side, they were too big!!
  6. I always look up the restaurant online and look on the menu. Most restaurants that I go to have the nutritional info on there. I know ahead of time what I am going to have to eat.
  7. I also can eat all 3 of them.
  8. great job girl!!! I was only down 18 pounds in 2 months!
  9. if you are still on pain meds, they will constipate you.
  10. what's so bad about a little loose skin and scars?!!! What's your alternative?! I'll take my lose skin any day!
  11. I was hungry too postop, I was able to start soft foods on day 12. Hang in there and good luck!
  12. dinner is also my biggest meal of the day because that is when I will have a starch with my meal. Don't think it hindered my weightloss. As long as you keep your calories under control, you should be fine.
  13. You have only been banded for 13 days! I didn't feel restriction for a long time, prob at one year being banded. Just give it time. And I have realized that for me, it is not about restriction. I can eat pretty much anything except for snap peas and snow peas. I have had my band tighten up a few times and that's when I realized that I don't want to limited on what I can eat. I just eat smaller portions of things that I still enjoy.
