  1. I am a self pay and plan on getting reimbursed for some of my out of pocket expenses. Please talk about any of your experiences with regard to reimbursement.

  8. Dr Spivak does not charge to remove his band placements. The facility charges 3400.00. The best doctor in Texas.
  9. Some of us are selfpay and our bmi is too low for any other weight loss surgery. I am a 33 bmi and after weighing everything I will do the Lapband. What I have decided is to pay the 9900.00 and not the extra 1000.00 for unlimited fills my first year. I will pay per fill. This information has been helpful.

  11. I do remember my consult saying I will need liquids 1 year after being banded. Any of you a year out and still taking meds. add how many cc's and band size at the time you take your pills. Thanks

  15. I need to pull out all that diet stuff I have bought through the years and never used. Blenders, scales , heart rate monitors. I want to buy the body bugg now. I am really getting excited. What have u guys figured out about taking pills in the future. Is there a site that tells u if You can crush a certain pill and take it in place of taking the pill whole.
  16. Hello Everyone, I am a self pay but I was told I could schedule whenever I am ready. I will be off from work a few weeks soon for personal reasons and I plan on scheduling my lap band for Mid April.
