today I got my first fill, i think i was more worried on how the fill will go than me actually getting the procedure. them laying me down on that moving table was making me nausious, but after getting the fill i found my self to be light headed and wanting to vomit. hopefully my fill is sufficient he gave me 4cc's. and now im on my liquid diet for 24 hours cant wait till this nausea feeling goes away.

my first fill is thursday nov 18th, I'm so nervous. I read about what other people have experienced and there is nothing like going through the process your self. this week I didnt lose any weight:sad:. So I am so ready for this fill because I think my body is intaking more food than when I first got out the hospital. I m ready to get back on my losing wagon. Hey, have anyone experiened something different because my sister had the realize band and I had the lapband. I heard they are the same but different companies, does one make you lose weight faster?:bored: just curious on anyone experience or expertise on both.
  9. lol @latin starr i;m following u as well celebrate ur 13 pounds. @papoose my dr did point out that there is a difference in the scales from office to home but I hate just hate it too. i need every pound to count lol. tks for the reply. @ janetjourneytolism u make a lot of sense lol they are expensive. and it does depend on the time of day. i think the morning i'm the most heaviest.

Do you think I'm expecting to much too fast. People say they notice my weight loss. I can see it on my back, you know with my rows, lol face, fingers, ankles, inches in my waistline and my breast is deflating do you think that will keep my clothes from falling off? I heard every 25 pounds u lose a dress size, I don't know how true it is, or who experienced different. If you experienced something different please share so I can have a little insight, because I know everyone body is different.:cursing:

ok, so I get on the scale today 11/03/2010 and this scales says I have lost 9 pounds. WHAT? i cant beleive it! because I have never lost more than 10 pound in my life of dieting for confirmation I have to let my doctor weigh me. I will be seeing him in 3 days. as for now i will keep doing what i do. so Obviously my diet is working. I will keep u posted if Im off by a couple of pounds my brain can only believe his scale right now lol, dont know why. go! Rhonda go! Rhonda:tt2:

  21. hi need to lose plz follow my progress i ownt sugar coat anything. This is the best thing I have done for myself but for the first 6 weeks the food choices are the worst.
  22. good luck on ur journey
  23. ok, this post-op diet is killing me, only because Im sooo not use to it. My belly can be full and my brain smells food that I can't have, and my stomach growls. This is really hard to avoid the wrong foods. But i've gave my self chef salad and I find my body to be full with that. I feel I'm doing good because I did lose an additional 3 pounds and I,m also working out twice a week because i want to be realistic with myself. and give myself realistic goals. So I can handle my weight loss myself. Thank god I am getting my first fill nov 18th right before thanksgiving. I am 4 weeks in post op and I am pretty much truthly am on my own diet I do eat chicken tuna and fish but no beef or pork, but even after the 6 weeks i dont think I will be returning to pork or beef. Im fine with the fish and etc. For all you out there thinking the lapband is going tske ur appetite you really need to think again.
  24. Hi my name is Rhonda and I've been over weight for years, I never looked at myself as overweight until about the age of 25. my life started to do down spiral I had 3 children and the weight came on, I can't just blame it on child bearing. it was a numerous of things that played a part if this obesitiy battle. poor choices and not caring. I let myself climb to an unpresidented 311 pounds easy, never knew I weighed that much, because i always avoided scales mirrors anything that showed me who I really was "OBESE" never paid much attention, never wanted to pay it attention because everyone that was in my circle of friends looked liked me, overweight. My family , friends, and even some co-workers so i fitted in. at least I thought. Every time we go out for a night on the town I always had a hard time for clothes to fit the right way. if at all can't wear high cut boots because of my calves. So my dissapointment started to turn into depression on the inside. i gave up on clothes didn't want shop, only wish. So I started a new job in the education field and i think that was the best thing that could of ever happened to me, meeting new people with a different walk of life. Everyone started to be on this health kick atkins diet, weight watchers, south beach, salad diet, cabbage diet, medifast diet, i tried most, but with my co-workers i chose weight wathchers. I did lose weight but after losing 13 pounds all i can do is maintain it nothing else would fall off, I started feeling even worse because everyone around me was starting to lose except me. so i chose the Lapband procedure because its not permanant. I was banded on oct 6,2010 and within the first 2 weeks already lost 17 pounds i am so ready to start my new life and to document my sucess so that this story may touch someone else who may be going thur the same things. bottom this short and sweet a story into my life I hope you stay and take this journey with me.311/295 and counting.
