    You should not be vomiting is you are eating the proper foods and chewing sufficiently. If this happens all the time you could damage your band, so you should call the doctor to discuss. It sounds like you are too full.

    It's never too late to start over, that's part of the beauty of the band.
    I'm guessing it's been awhile since you've seen your surgeon or been filled, so the very first thing I'd do is make an appointment with your surgeon. Get your band checked and decide with him whether or not you may need a fill.
    I would also make an appointment with your nutritionist. They are a very valuable resource and will be very helpful getting you back on track.
    I would also start tracking your calories, it's the only way you can know for sure you're not accidentally eating too much. I would also start measuring your food portions so don't go over 1 cup per meal.
    It's going to take some work to get back on track but you can totally do this. Best wishes.

    Didn't your dr tell you when to start the liquid diet? It's the hardest thing I have ever done but the results were terrific..I lost 22 lbs on the 2 week pre op.... And I had a successful surgery. You must put forth this effort now or put off your surgery until you are more stable. Because not following instruction after you are banded can cause harm to your band.
    What you are feeling is normal. But remember your life isn't all about food and when you are through with the losing of your journey you will thank yourself on a daily basis. Best wishes to you!!!

    For the first few weeks I was full after a cup of liquid... Once healed I moved to about a cup of food at every meal and no more than 1000 calories a day..... It worked like a charm. I think it's too early to be worried about how you feel...your body is still recovering

    I could care less what they call it. Reconstructive, Plastic, cosmetic, elective... I was against it from the start. Every other time I lost weight it wasn't an issue.,.., of course every other time I didn't lose 224 lbs!!!
    Fast forward to the end of my losing journey and see how i changed my mind...check out my Tummy Tuck pics and you will understand why I did it and paid hard earned cash for it. Was it vain... Maybe. Am I embarrassed about it...absolutely not. Would I love to do my thighs and arms....yes. Will I... I don't think so because I am not at the point of hating it.... I don't love it but I can live with it...unlike my tummy and tubular flaps I used to call breasts. Having the procedures I did really made me feel like I finally had the body I worked so hard to get.

    There are very few things I cannot eat.. Skins on fruit or meat arent good for me... rice as much as I love it isnt a good choice for me but many others do well with it.... Tough meats are just too much effort but other than that.... I can eat anything. I just dont chose to fill up on breads and Pasta but I do have them on occasion.
    You might try making a week's worth of menus which change up your selections. Its a good tool to plan your meals anyway so as to track your calories.

    I dont know of any body shaper that will permenantly change your shape. After you get to a normal weight you may look into cosmetic surgery but I am betting you find your shape to be just fine.
    I thought I would always have a butt..fat or thin...... But after losing 224 lbs it is flatter than I could have imagined.
    Just be patient and speak to a trainer about how to lose belly fat which may speed things along.

    The port incision was the largest...and it was about an inch. By the time I was 6 months post op I couldn't see any of the 4 incisions....they basically disappeared

    My current goal is not to gain any weight back and to maybe even drop 5 more lbs. during my losing part of this journey I took it 10 lbs at a time... Anything loftier then that would have been overwhelming because I had so much to lose.

    I have been banded 2 yrs and 3 months... I have had no problems with slipping, leaks, port issues or anything really at all.

    I love Reruns of Brady Bunch, Mary Tyler Moore and the Cosby Show. I wouldn't know one of the new shows if I fell over them...lol. Except Sister Wives which I am obsessed with... I have no idea why....

    My dr gave me the same advice about the one cup rule but he also said I should have no less than 1000 calories...so I would check with yours just to be sure. You will lose eventually on 600 but that's really starving yourself....

    I am asking because its common once you get off liquid to gain a little because your body is finally getting fed and it's storing all the food. But to only eat 600 calories... Seems low. I would ask the dr how many you should be taking in.

    So the 2 Protein Shakes a day are the only thing you're eating or drinking? Nothing else? You're only consuming a total of 600 calories a day?
