Incision sizes

I am getting banded on the 27th, and I am starting to get nervous of the surgery pain. The surgeon has talked a lot that the "tool" incisions will be about an inch long. But every post I see about people already banded say it is their port incision that hurts the most.. How long/large is the port incision? I'm just starting to get nervous...

  • The port incision was the largest...and it was about an inch. By the time I was 6 months post op I couldn't see any of the 4 incisions....they basically disappeared

My port incision was about 1-1.5 inches. All of the others were less than 1/2 inch. They fade quickly.

Same sizes here as Chez. The longest one to fade is the port incision, but it's going away. I'm 8 months out to give you a time frame.

yep mine r the same as Cheznoels. Im 3 days post op every day feels better. Hardest thing was bending over to tie shoes! :)
