Blood thinners after gastric sleeve

I went to the ER about a month after surgery due to severe pain and swelling in my leg. Thought it could be a deep vein thrombosis. They did a ultrasound of the veins in my legs to verify and no clots. But clots in the legs is a very serious issue after any major surgery. I only got blood thinner injections while in the hospital. some more overweight people get a script for them for weeks beyond surgery -

I would recommend not comparing yourself to others on here. Everyone has different starting weights, different levels of muscle mass, can do different amounts of exercise, have different basal metabolic rates, etc. 26 pounds is a lot! As long as you're following your plan you'll be successful, even if it's slower than you were expecting. -
1 pointNo lie... my mind went to a different type of "activities";) I was amazed by how much of our time together revolved around food so that was different in the very beginning, but you can always find something at restaurants and whatnot. If your partner is willing and able though, you can all kinds of activities that were hard before like hiking, go carts, amusement parks, travel in general....

My hospital had strict rules regarding that that no uber, taxi, lyft could be used to take you home after surgery. had to be friend, family or a medical service. -
