    Speed of weight loss

it depends on so many factors that it's impossible to tell - age, gender, metabolic rate, starting BMI, whether or not you lost weight prior to surgery, etc. The only thing you really have control over is how committed you are to your program. I was a slow loser, but I almost never went off my program. I lost all my excess weight, but it took around 20 months. the only way I know of to increase your metabolism is strength training. Muscles burn more calories than fat, so the more muscular you are, the more calories you'll burn, even when you're sleeping.

You go in with the butterflies and the chop em out - Once they yank out 85% of you stomach they open it up let the butterflies out and remove all the debris and recycle the metals. In my case they need a 55 gallon drum for 52 years of **** eating and consumption. Found some cool stuff i had lost. No above is not real - So do not panic

    Protein coffee

Thank you so much for the list! I just ordered some options. I was a 3 pot a day coffee girl who now can’t tolerate a cup. I really hope one of the options works. I’m so tired these days

    Partner/ spouse support

This is not directed at anyone in particular but I think that WLS exposes bad relationships but makes good ones stronger. At least I hope.

Where did my menopause symptoms go?

I just spent a week on the GC and was cold in the evening. Hubby kept telling me it wasnt cold but I don't believe him. Could be my meds are working or less body weight means less heat

1/2 cup of food is 4 oz and that's about the size of food/meal I was told to eat, every two hours. Over that amount, you're over eating. Eating slower too, would help also! I am 7 years post op and still have the problem you are describing. Laying down on your back helps with the pain for some reason. At least it does to me. Good Luck!

    Sleeve failure??

Completely agree with everything that's been said. It's all about sticking to your plan. You've done the band so you've made the lifestyle change. Just keep it up and you'll be fine :-)
