Lost only 1 pound in a week

I'm post op 2weeks and finally weighed in this week and lost only 1 pound. How can that be?? I'm still on liquid diet and have 480 calories a day! I drink 40 oz of water a day also!!! Wth ? Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight

From what I understand my dr only submitted my initial weight and my last visit weight. Iโ€™d check with your surgeons office. If itโ€™s the same for you it will set your mind at ease to know a little fluctuation is not going to derail you as long as that final weigh in is at or under goal

    The Biggest Loser (RANT)

I never watched it because I just felt bad for them, but I know Jillian Michaels left the show because she thought that those people losing that much weight in such a short period of time (without WLS) was very unhealthy and obviously one of the reasons for their rebound weight gain. She spoke out against the show later on.

    Total loss

I am 8 weeks into my weight loss journey... my total loss is 27 lb... I am thrilled with this loss... I was stalled for about 2 1/2 weeks and I think I am moving past that... it feels good not worrying about losing ... I am fine with a slow loss because I know it will come off eventually...

Taking vitamins is not really an issue. I take one in the morning and one at night and that really isnโ€™t a biggie. Also remember that not everyone dumps and if you do there are alternatives. I havenโ€™t tried normal icecream since my surgery but I do eat Halo top and that is yummy. If I go out for dinner I will have a couple of mouthfuls of hubbyโ€™s dessert and that satisfies me and doesnโ€™t cause an issue.

Folks I work with are like family. So far, everyone has been supportive of my choice to do the surgery, but I'm wondering how true people really are sometimes. Did any of ya'll return to work and expect support, but notice people (or a person) change how they interact with you?

    Bump

I recently had the gastric bypass and Iโ€™ve noticed that I have bump over my large incision. Is this where they put my separated stomach? Anyone else experience this?
