    Post Op Pain and food

I had my sleeve surgery Dec 17, 2018. The process was rather stretchy in the beginning. Iv,urine screen needle in stomach. Blood work. Last weight. After surgery the pain was horrific. I remember telling them im at a 10 a 10!! There wee guving me something that wasnt working. I remember a lady brung me a ginger ame with a straw. I immediately started sipping not thinking smh. I told her i cant have a straw or carbonated beverage. She told me it was fine. Which was not. I waited in recovery probably a hour. Then I went to a room. Pain was too much. I did get up and walk alot. I couldn’t release any gas only burping. I still cant stand up straight. The only incision that hurts is the main one. I haven’t been able to get any food down. Everything is nasty. Water is my best friend. Nausea is the worst and when you throw it is the wirst. Looks like greasy phlegm. Its so nasty.

    Bread... oof

I have no issues eating bread. I don't eat a lot of it, of course, but, if I really get a craving or I'm out with family or something, I may have half of a biscuit/roll. I don't feel any different after I eat it though.

    One month stall

I know there are hundreds of posts about stalls... However, mine is now really bothering me. I have been stalled, bouncing between the same 3 lbs for a month now. I’m only 4 1/2 months post op. I have been getting my 60+ grams of protein, I’ve been getting my 70 oz of water, if I eat a carb it because I have a little room left and it’s a healthy carb. I’m exercising 2-3 times a week cardio and doing weights every day at home. I take my vitamins. I am beyond frustrated and want to cry. I was on a great steady pace the first 3 months, averaging 10 lbs a month. Everyone keeps saying take advantage of this first 6-12 months...it’s hard to stay positive when you feel like you’ve lost one of those months. Any help would be so appreciated.

    Experience of seasoned sleevers

Hello friends I was wondering how the journey is for seasoned sleevers and what advice you could give for us beginners. I have read a lot in regards of weight reverting and stabilization, physiological changes etc... How has the post-op experience been for you guys??? What would you have done differently if anything? Thanks for sharing!

    Not So Big Bubba

    My Hospital Closed.

So I called to schedule an appt the other day since I had to reschedule for a family emergency. I was then advised that the hospital where I had my surgery and where my surgeons office was located is closing. Just shutting the doors. My Dr has to find a new home. My nutritionist is in the same boat. And here I am , trying to figure out wtf I am supposed to do with my ongoing journey. And on top of it the hospital that was supposed to be there for me has thrown me to the bookkeepers. PAY NOW. WTF. Your facility is no longer providing me with the support I need to get through this. I feel like that is part of the deal. Now I need to find another place to get me through this. And really what surgeon is going to take me on for continuing care if he knows the big money is done. And what if something comes up? Damnit.

    Tingling in Right Foot

I had my surgery in April 2018. I took the vitamins like I was supposed to but found they made me sick to my stomach. I stopped after month 2. I went for my 3 month check up and everything was perfect. I have recently noticed my right foot starts to tingle like it's falling asleep and is sort of numb on the top. This starts when I get home and doesn't really get better until I get up the next day and start moving around. I started taking my vitamins again yesterday in hopes that it might be a vitamin deficiency. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance!
