I am on ground beef so far. Not allowed to have tomato or tomato sauce which makes it difficult. Its just funny how even ground beef takes a while to chew. I have had nightmares too lmfao Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app

Congrats to both of you!! Best of luck on the recovery and hope there are no issues other than the gas.

    Itchy Incisions

The itchy incision factor is pretty common. I would try my best not scratch at them but gave the hell up. At least as they heal up, it gets better.

Become a creature of habit. I think this is by far the most important and key thing. Eat consistently, workout consistently, develop a routine and do the same thing the same way all the time.

I guess I'm the opposite. I jumped into real food again on a work trip, and ate tons of different things that week (like 12 course meals each night!). Nothing bothered my stomach. So from then on I don't really even think about if something will upset my stomach, because nothing really has.

I'm meeting with NP next week to talk about gastric bypass after sleeve 7 years ago. Advice and thoughts.

Has anyone felt like everything they eat post op is like the first time all over again? I feel like I’m in a foreign land and have to test every food again for taste and digest-ability. It’s going to be a long time before I’ve covered all foods again and know what is off limits.

Exhausting yes! And I don’t like to try anything new unless I’m at home!
