    Is something wrong with me?

I am 3 months last surgery, but my liquid phase was easy. I was concerned like you, but like everyone mentioned, when you get to solids you will feel the restriction kick in! You will be fine. I am 71lbs down and loving it. Sent from my VS995 using BariatricPal mobile app

    August 2017 Sleevers

I was supposed to have surgery July 5th but it got pushed back for a genetic blood disorder that needs to be treated for 6 weeks before I can have surgery. I'm extremely discouraged and disappointed but have a new date of August 21st. Found out this afternoon that my surgeon is leaving and moving thousands of miles away...... meeting my new surgeon on Wednesday but I am really stressed about this entire ordeal. Looking forward to get everything settled and over with soon. On the bright side my VSG is completely covered by insurance and I received my approval the other day.

    The divorce diet

If he loves you no matter which size, you will be fine - just keep talking to each other. I often read about the break ups too and it's usually unhappy relationships or ones where the partner is exclusively into bigger women and can't cope with the changes. He has liked you at different sizes so I'm sure you will be fine

I'm gaining weight now now 7 weeks out

It's just a different scale. For accuracy, is the same scale. My home scale is 10 lbs different from my doctor. Don't sweat it.

Chronic dehydration can most certainly cause high blood pressure. It can also cause low blood pressure. Go figure. If your doctor is not worried, I would not spend too much time fretting over it. I would however be persistent about calling them if the HBP continues. Congrats on the surgery by the way!

    Vitamins

I am taking the Bariactric fusion chewables in berry flavor. They have everything you need in one big vitamin. I take them 3 times a day.

    4 days post op

Shaines9,LL I, too, had my RNY on Tuesday, May 30th at 8:00AM at Howard University in Washington, DC. The surgeon was impressed with my recovery, etc., and released from hospital the next day around 6:00PM. My pain is very minimal as if I didn't have surgery. I started walking the same evening after surgery and have been walking ever since. I'm 48 years old, soon to be 49 years old September 11th. Hubby and walked around cul de sac yesterday evening and walked a few lapses at the track this morning. Then, rode around in our new ride running errands. I AM TRULY BLESSED AND FAVORED TO BE HEALING SO WELL. I have my one week follow-up appointment with the surgeon on Wednesday, June 7th at 1:00PM. I'm focusing on drinking 2 Premier Protein (30g) shakes, water, and sugar free pudding per day -- thus far, NO ISSUES -- Praise God. TeResa

    Mexico surgery alone

Thete will be soo many Americans there going through the same thing. Your driver will pick you up at airport, most likely other patients too. Get to know this group. You will meet others at the hotel too. These people will be your support network while there. You will be ok. Make sure you walk the halls, as instructed post op. I still keep im touch with some in the group I met. I had surgery in Mexico Oct 3. My dr. was Dr. Cabrera. Awesome! You might find a,slight language barrier with some nurses. Just a few. The staff are awesome. Good luck and keep me posted. Whos your dr. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
