Pretty happy with my progress. Was hoping for 90 down today by today, but hit 88.2. so almost there. Revising my goal down now. Hit overweight last month! People le who haven't seen me in a year aren't recognizing me. So here is that... -

I have so many "can't waits" and I'm still early in the pre-op stage!! That's so good to hear that things went smoothly and there was minimal pain, and that you were able to take in the food that you did!! -

Outpatient surgery?

I was just sleeved on May 15th in Mexico. I stayed 2 nights in the hospital and 2 additional nights at a nearby hotel. I did really well and although I think I could have gone home after one night I think having an extra day of IV fluids was helpful. I was walking 2 miles on day 5 post op and I have had no problems getting my fluids in. Honestly, this is major surgery and I just don't think I would have been comfortable going home the same day. -

Last day of actual food for me. Clear liquids tomorrow. Surgery Monday! -
1 pointNSAIDs will cause issues with the lining your stomach- especially if it gets stuck in your staple line- definitely shouldn't be taken for at least three months after surgery- my doctor didn't allow vitamins either until week 3

Pinterest has a lot of good ideas. Also the blog The World According to Eggface has tons of recipes and some really good tips (she had RNY, but the diet is basically the same).
