Me! I'm BMI of 36.6, with the serious weight-related issues, or, "comorbidity" as they call it, to qualify with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetic. My surgery date is May 31st!
Made my first mini goal of reaching 208 lbs, have to share a quick split screen! (Disclaimer: this happens to be a fabulous angle and I'm wearing the hell out of some industrial strength Spanx)
I am five months out and only lost thirty pounds and I am seesawing between 278 and 285 I get all my protein, not all my veggies. I am worried about the amount of fat I am eating. I work out three to five times a week. Sometimes I can only take a few bites before I am sick then other times I can eat more then a cup of food. And now my hear is doing this and it's thin to begin with......any advice? Iamonlyhuman
Absolutely. Post op now. My doc/nut office only encourages us to listen to our bodies in regards to foods and what to eat. Don't eat just because it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Eat because you're truly hungry. I'm finding my stomach to cramp when I'm hungry. Granted I'm only 5 days out from surgery, but it's definitely been a time for me to learn my cues and listen. My body will change and I'll have more to learn and listen for.

My surgery was Sept 27 and up until this week I have been nauseated almost every meal.
One things that caused mine is that I was not eating slow enough.
There is an app called "Eat Slower", this has helped me a lot. You don't realize how fast you are eating....
Are you eating your protein first? That is important....Then you should fill up on low starch veggies and then have very little carb.
You should introduce one new food at a time and see how you handle it....See if that helps...if not, I would talk to your Dr. or NUT and see what they say.
