GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
just a little message to throw out there because im excited!!! as of this morning I am down 216 pounds
from 465 to 249 in almost a year AMAZES ME! I hit a stall for a month and stayed at 277... I really thought my weight loss ended lol
but I changed things around and I started to lose again! the stall sucked!! it made me feel awful for some reason..then my co workers reminded me how far I've come already. this surgery wasn't an easy way out, it still takes a lot of work mentally and physically to get to where we want to be! so for those of u who are at a stall just remember its temporary and don't beat yourself up. I've got 50 more pounds to lose to reach my goal of being under 200lbs. (I never ever thought I could say that) and 69 pounds to get to my drs goal of 180.
im almost there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was sleeved one week ago and feel great! I get to start pureed foods tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has a "favorite" pureed food that was their go-to food during this time. Before I had surgery, I was almost repulsed by the thought of pureed food...now I am SO excited for it to start! .
That's really good to hear! I've been nervous....my insurance has a 12 month wait, but I did 12 months of weight management through them... so I'm hoping we are starting the process in time that all that counts!
True, but you but for a document that is supposed to last 5-10 years anyway, you shouldn't be forced to update a passport before its expiration date because of weight loss. That's where immigration officers need to use some gumption
I have an egd scheduled for may 1st...the dr wants it done because this is revisional surgery band to sleeve...had bad removed in 2010. Dr said if there is scarred tissue he cannot do the surgery because it poses a risk for leaking....please need prayers this will be ok...I have to have this surgery [emoji120][emoji120]
When I had my EGD done, the doc told me that he biopsied all patients for the H. Pylori bacteria just to be on the safe side. I don't know if maybe that's standard practice pre-surgery? I'm sure everything will come back ok for you [emoji6] Sent from my XT1585 using BariatricPal mobile app
