Any Petite Sleevers? Under 5' ...??

I was 5'0 and 214 day of surgery in July. Now I'm 145, which is still overweight for such a petite height. No one would describe me as skinny and if I'd never gotten so fat and never had surgery I would still be trying to lose 20+ lbs. So I'm still working on losing, but I feel fucking great! Every pound makes a difference at our height.

    Guilt.

@anneelliot I really respect your honesty and I'm sorry you are having acid reflux ! I know that sucks s I have had it in the past. With almost three weeks till surgery I am tempted to try it in my own once again but then I reflect on the last ten years of a really valiant effort and find my BMI is up from 36 to 40? And there's so much I want to accomplish.

Hi not sure how much of a help I'll be but I would double check with the hospital you're planning on going through & your insurance. I already attended my seminar back in October but was disappointed that I did my first required support group with a different hospital and when I called in to the hospital where my surgeon is affiliated with I was told it didn't count so now I have to go on the 15th to the right location. I'm not going to say it was for nothing; even though that's how I felt at first but I received some really great info there. But they didn't make the info on the paper clear it just said "attend a support group near year & contact them with the date & location" that told me that I could attend any but that's not what they meant. So just double check to make sure your seminar counts so you don't have to repeat it again.

    Almost 4 months out

I was sleeved 10/21/16 and the last few days I have been getting nauseous almost every time I eat, does anyone else have this problem? I am switching to liquid diet for a day or two to see if it helps and starting over. Any recommendations? psw:257 cw:210 gw:150 Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App

    Newbie

I was 27 when I had my tonsillectomy, I thought I was gonna die, lol. I deal well with pain, no pain meds with any of my csections, but I took my meds every 4 hours when I had my tonsillectomy, lol... I know I will feel so much better, my feet hurt all the time now... NOT the easy way out...

Lol I have a "friend" at work who likes to say she lost her weight the "real way" and "on her own" and I just gently remind her that I'm in the gym 4x a week for 90 minutes and weigh and measure everything - trust me, I have a tool but I'm most definitely doing it on my own. I don't have anyone doing anything for me.
