The neverending Insurance Game...

Well....I have never had a blog..nor have I read many..but I need an outlet for my frustrations, trials..and :biggrin:yes blessings. I am currently in an appeals mode or "resideration mode" for lap band. I have all but stood on my head, submitted every embarasing factoid regarding my mental and phsical health only to continue sending more andmore andmore iformation:crying: meanwhilemy weight stays the same and my blood sugar is up AND I feel somehow defective and alone. Out of all of the procedures and illnesses in the world ..obesity is the one that points blame and requires complete exposure of ones self and psyche before treatment is considered:confused: yet untreated diabetes hypertension cardiovascular disease,amputations..NO problem..No hoops..No minimum/maximum visit AND NO PRIOR AUTHORIZATION:mad::confused:THOUGHTS????????

I feel the same! They will do EVERYTHING for diabetes, and pay, but when you really need the help, that might cure or resolve the issue, it becomes your fault you are this way. Even though millions of studies show that it can be hereditary...I was ADOPTED, so how in the world was I supposed to know!!!!!!
