Day 14 and just can't get motivated to get on the treadmill....

:( Help!!! I can't get motivated to get my butt on the treadmill.

I'm definitely a morning workout person. But, if I don't do it right away.. FORGET ABOUT IT!!! It's been 14 days since I was banded, and I think I was on the treadmill a total of 4 times. I have 2 small children (ages 3 & 4), and honestly don't get a second for myself all day. My husband and I have been talking about joining a gym, but not sure if we can afford it. I think it would be the best thing if we could. To be able to workout uninterrupted.. (I wonder what that would be like).... I go for my 2 week follow up on Tuesday. I recently had to have an emergency follow up, due to an infection at my port site. I was weighed and lost 10lbs in 9 days( yay!! GO me Go me).. But, I know if I don't get my butt moving this isn't going to turn out well..

How do you get yourself motivated??????

There is no need to join a gym. I did that for years and wasted money. I currently do DVD's at home. There are several that I do so I dont get bored ( INSANITY, P90X and TURBO JAM). They each have 13 or so DVD's per package. You can find them used on EBAY. I would not r ecommend you starting with them though. Do you have Comcast? There is "workout" TV on most TV packages... they are about 20 minutes and available whenever you want them for free.

You have to soul search and ask yourself what kind of excercise do you enjoy. It could be something as simple as jumping rope with the neighborhood kids or by-yourself. Because we know we have to do some type of excercise. You just have to find what you really enjoy. I'm not talking abou not the routine ones, it could be line dancing if you enjoy dancing, swimming, anything to keep you motivated. Good luck....!
