Day 6 of Pre-Op Diet

OK yesterday was a bad day. I woke up at 8:45am had my shake was feeling really good. Then my husband and his family wanted to go to breakfast at IHOP. I ate too much and I had 2 cupcakes at a Easter party last night. Dinner was shells and cheese with a hot dog and french fries. I am so disappointed with myself. I am feeling like crap and I just can't beleive that I did that to all my hard work during the week. Hoping to hope back on the wagon today.

Yeah I dont think you should have gone so drastic with your choice. Just remember that was one day and your goal is to transform to a person that makes better choices in your food intake. I am going thru my post op which is liquids..... I'm really hungry and cant wait until this surgery take place. I have bee asking if I could have noodles in my soup and the doctor stated NO. Did you also have to go on a liquid diet as well? And if so what was your choices?

Just hope right back on the wagon! You can do it. We all have had those days. You don't have the band yet. It is hard when all of the celebrating is going on around you. I know that prior to my lapband that would have been enough to set me off course for a long time. Now, if I make a bad choice, it is just that a bad choice for that moment. I get right back on track. My biggest suggestion to you is plan, plan, and plan. It will really help keep you on track. It allows you to be ready for obstacles. Good luck as you continue your journey!

Don't give in to temptation because it will only set you back time and time again. It has happened to me as well. But forgive yourself and get back on track. Good luck to you. :)
