Stalled

I have been stalled for two weeks (weeks 3 and 4). I am very discouraged. I am staying on the diet to the letter, and I am getting in all my proteins and fluids. I would really like to hear about others who are stalled, and who have been stalled. I would like to know how long your stalls were, and after the stall, how much wt. did you start losing? HELP

Success Story At My One Week Weigh In

Hello Sleevers!   Yesterday was 7 days post op and I had to go to my surgeon to have my staples out, which by the way I was dreading, but, it was not painful at all!   Of course they weighed me. On May 8th, the day after surgery I weighed 192. Yesterday, Six days later, I had lost 12.3lbs! I am so excited! I do not know what the upcoming weeks will bring, but I am very happy with a 12.3 lost! I weighed 179.7, and I have not been in the 170's for a very long time! I wish all of you success in

Anyone Else 6 Days Postop

Today is actually my 5th day postop, but I am wondering how others are doing who are out about the same days as I am. I am doing well, some soreness, but doing well. I am walking 1/2 mile on the treadmill 4 times a day so that I am getting in 2 miles. I take my time though, no hurrying the recovery.   Monday I get my staples out. Can anyone tell me if it hurts to have your staples out? I worry about the sillest things. Today I weighed and dropped 3 lbs from yesterday! I am very encouraged righ

Discouraged Before Surgery

This is day 12 of my preop diet. I have stayed on my protein drinks and typically 600-800 calories a day, yet, the over the last two days I have GAINED a pound each. If this is what I have to look forward to after the surgery, I am not sure I should go through with this procedue. Why am I not losing? I lost 9lbs in 10 days, but then gained.

Headache Preop

I have had a pain in my shoulders, neck and head for the past two days. I am 3 days until surgery and really concerned about the pain. I have taken everything I can take. I do not know if it is because I have been on a liquid diet for 11 days, or if it is stress related. I do not really feel anxious about the surgery, rather I am very excited. Has anyone else had headaches before the surgery?
