I'M BAAACK AND BANNED!!!!!!

:biggrin1: I GOT MY BAND ON MONDAY AT 10:45AM HER NAME IS " simply beautiful":)   I WAS SO HIIIIIIGGGGGGH FROM MORPHINE IT TOOK ME 3 DAYS TO COME DOWN....I TOOK MYSELF OFF OF THE TYENOL WITH CODINE......THE SOUP SUCKED!!!! THE JELLO WAS LIKE EATING ROAST BEEF AND CHICKEN!!! :D :D   MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT THE GAS PAINS IN THE LEFT SHOULDER DIDNT COME UNTIL THE 3 DAY AND OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!I WENT THROUGH A BOX AND A HALF OF CHEWIE GAS-X IN 3 DAYS....THE GAS PAINS ARE LEAVING HARDLY NO PAIN AT ALL!!!:phanvan :phanvan :phanvan :( :angry   MY TUMMY WAS SWOLLEN AND MY PORT SITE IS STILL A LITTLE TENDER AND A LITTLE HOT ...I MUST HAVE HAD FEVER IN IT *FEVER BLISTER APPEAR BUT ITS GONE NOW*   MY 20'S ARE FITTING MY VERY LOOSE NOW!!! :clap2: MY FACE IS CHANGING SO FAST!!:biggrin1: MY FEET ARE NOT AS FAT!!:paranoid THE SWELLING IN MY TUMMY IS GOING DOWN :biggrin1: I LOST I STRIP IN THE SHOWER!!!   THE LIQUID DIET I HATE IT, I HAD HEADACHES ARE TOO BAD *I ATE SOME MASHED POTATOES* I KNOW I KNOW BUT MY HEADACHE WENT AWAY!!!:heh: :heh: :heh: :heh: :heh:   I'M SICK TO DEATH OF GLUCERNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:paranoid :paranoid :tired :tired !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   MY NEXT CHECK UP IS ON THE 22 OF MARCH!!!!   I LOVE YOU TAMMY AND TERESITA AND EVERYONE THAT CALLED ME AND TEXTED ME I LOVE YOU ALL.......

I cheated myself!!!

I walked by a scale and got on it, I promised myself I would wait until my post op visit March 22.   And what did I see:cool:   the scale moved from 274 (weight date of surgery) to 255 (yesterday) :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:   I dont know if I was seeing stuff or of the scale was off I got on and off the scale 3 times. And I wanted to cry and jump but my tummy wouldnt let me.:think   I was speechless I got a calculator to do the math and 255 from 274= 19lbs gone ?????? :eek: :eek: Is that normal am i losing to fast?????   Maybe I'm trippin real hard but I cant believe it It hasnt been a good 2 weeks yet. I dont know what to say my face looks very different my neck seems longer my arms are smaller, my 44 G's are shrinking..and oh yeah my 20's are very loose   Maybe that 19pounds was all Water and Air from the surgery. :nervous :nervous :nervous

YES ,YES I'VE BEEN BANNED FOR 2 WEEKS NOW:clap2: :clap2:   LOST 20 POUNDS TO DATE:omg:   I ONLY HAVE 2 COMPLAINTS: GAS PAINS AND STUPID STERILE STRIPS:( I'VE LOST 2 STRIPS SO FAR   MY BAND IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL, SHE KEEPS ME IN CHECK!!!!:eek:   MY FEET ARE GETTING SMALLER MY BOOBS ARE SMALLER MY ARMS ARE SMALLER I HAVE CHEEK BONES TO DIE FOR!!!!! HAVING A MOMENT!!

YES I Thick chick texas am having a moment! I dont allow myself to drown in my moments so let me get this out quickly!! Not feeling real good about myself today I know that I'm not as far gone with my weight as others. But I what I carry is very very heavy for me, I woke up and I felt disgusted with myself, I've been sticking to my eating right plan but I dont see anything happening! I ate mini corn dogs and boiled chicken legs all day yesterday not sured if that is bad??? I have completly sworn off pants because of the way my thighs rub together eveything from my knees down is small but the knees up I look like a goodyear blimp! *my opinion* So now I wear skirts it hides my thighs and my kness and some of my flap from being pregnant.   **** ok stop it NO MORE badmouthing me****   Ok I got that out!!! I will be ok thank u thank u Teresita for your GOD-sent words!!! I guess I just had to get it out! Gasp!!! Faint!! Swoon!!! AETNA SUCKS!!

11-16-06   I'm still waiting for my doctor's office to fax me the medical supervised diet thing that didnt work. WHY WHY WHY is it taking so long to get this paper work!!!   I'm getting so overworked about his whole thing I want it so bad!!!   what is a Thick girl to do??? :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:   UPDATE AS OF 4:52PM CST   4:15PM I SPOKE WITH SCOTT I DONT HAVE ENOUGH MEDICAL HISTORY FOR AETNA CAN KISS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TOLD SCOTT THAT I WOULD CALL HIM BACK   4:18PM AFTER I TALKED TO ANGIE AND LAURA THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR UHC *YES I CALLED TWICE* I FOUND OUT THAT MY COMPANY HAS WLS INCLUDED AND UHC WILL COVER IT UP TO 80% I WILL PAY ABOUT 2200 OUT OF POCKET I WILL HAVE TO GET A IN NETWORK PROVIDER.. ALREADY GOT HIM ALL THAT IS REQUIRED IS A BMI OF 40% AND A LETTER FROM DR. R.     4:25PM THAT HEADACHE THAT ATENA TRIED TO GAVE ME IS GONE   4:35PM I TOLD SCOTT THAT HIM AND I HAVE A DATE 1-3-07 AND I WILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. HE LAUGHED AND SAID OK, HE ALSO SAID HE WAS IMPRESSED WITH MY ABILITY TO HANG IN THERE AND GET WHAT I WANT.   I FEEL GOOD ALL OVER AT THIS MOMENT.   AETNA IS THE BULLY OF THE SCHOOL OF INSURANCE THEY DONT BELIEVE IN GIVING JUSTICE TO ALL OF US THAT NEED IT   SHOUT OUT TO DOUG & TERESITA (((((((((HUGS))))))))TO U :eek: 4:59PM:clap2:

To change my body I want the band   2006 As I think about the things that happend this year I cry & I laugh..   I lost my best friend I cry:phanvan :cry :cry :think   I remember all the crazy things we did I laugh:kiss   I look back at the things I will never do again I laugh :clap2:   I set myself free of people that don't care about me I jump 4 joy!!!:scared:   I got a promotion 1/06 I laugh:clap2:   Getting ready to get another promotion 12/20/06 I'm nervous:o   I accepted my calling into the ministry I laugh and Cry at that:) :D   I have gained some new friends on here and I will always remember them for their kindness:D :scared: ;)   Jesus is the reason for the Season!!!!

THE SCALE WAS WRONG!!!!!!

OK SO MY AUNT LOU'S SCALE WAS WAY OFF   MY CURRENT WEIGHT PER YESTERDAY IS 260   WHICH MEANS I'VE LOST 14 POUNDS SINCE THE SURGERY......   KIND OF DISAPPOINTED BUT HEY THAT'S 14 THAT WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!!   MY WOUNDS ARE FINE I GO BACK ON THE 14TH OF APRIL OF MY NUTRITION CLASS   THEN I GO BACK ON 16TH OF APRIL FOR MY FIRST FILL I'M EXCITED ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!!

ITS BEEN WAAAAAY TO LONG!!

A wonderful change

I ACCEPTED MY CALL INTO THE MINISTRY ON SUNDAY! I HAVE REALLY BEEN LISTENING TO THE LORD AND ABIDING IN HIM TOTALLY! I FEEL SO BRAND NEW AND I THANK GOD FOR THE CHANCE TO PREACH HIS WORD. I WANT TO THANK THIS PLACE FOR ALL THE SUPPORT I HAVE RECEIVED. AS FAR AS MY WEIGHT IS CONCERNED IM DOING GOOD ON THE "EATING BETTER DIET" NO EXCERSIE OTHER THAN WALKING AND MY SIZE 20'S ARE BECOMING LOOSE!! Waiting Waiting Waiting for Approval

Not sure whats suppose to come first the approval or the pre test for the surgery?:rolleyes   Im not as jittery as I was before, My managers know about what I want to do they are supportive! My mom does not want me to have the surgery! My sister is like go for it!   My kids love the way mommy's stomach feels like a soft pillow my son likes to poke at it and watch it jiggle!:tired   Im not ready for pre op diet trying to get my head around not eating as much as a pregnant person!!!:bathbaby:   I want to be comfortable I want to be healthy I want support I want to live as long as I can for my kids and their future!!!

TAE-BO KICKED MY BOOTY!!

9:17AM I FINALLY STARTED MY EXERCISE ROUTINE! I DID 45MINS OF CARDIO!!!! TAE-BO!!!!!:scared:   BILLY BLANKS WHIPPED MY TAIL :angry PUNCHING BAGS, SIDE KICK, SQUATS!!!!!:tired   WHY ME!!!   BUT I FEEL GOOD! I FEEL LIKE IM DOING MORE ON MY PART!! I HAVE TO REMEBER THE BAND IS A TOOL TO HELP ME!!!!!   WISH ME LUCK GOING TO GET MY 2ND FILL!!!!! :biggrin1: **************************************************** 12:34PM SO FOR SOME REASON I GET REALLY NERVOUS WHEN I COMES TO FILLS!!!   MOMENT OF TRUTH CURRENT WEIGHT 252 I LOST A POOUND!!! I DID MY INSURANCE GUYS JOB!

:bathbaby: :target: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: 1-24-06 10:37a.m. Spoke with **** at UHC to see of the predetermination letter had been received by them, he called the predetermination dept he said that I don’t even need a letter of predetermination all I need is a BMI of 40 but the more information I have for them is great! He gave a fax number 801 567 5497 attn to UHC Predetermination or call Care Coordinator dept 800 842 3920 to give me my id number and the reason for the surgery I would like to have. He really didnt persuade me into thinking he knew what he was talkin about. :phanvan :phanvan I called Scott at Dr. Rivas 10:45am He said he called on the 22nd to give gave a tentative surgery date of 2-26-2007 gave reference number waiting for a call back from the Care Coordination Department. He told me to call and ask the status of predetermination have you reviewed the case have you requested clinical information. 10:55am Spoke with the Care Coordination spoke with Erika in the department to see if they have reviewed the case or requested Clinical information. She said they case was called in the 19th it takes a while to go thru the process. After I explain to her my family history and why I need this. She gave me the fax number to give to information she asked for my BMI is 41.2 & weight 267 & height 5 7. She said that would help with the process She wished me luck she was sweet. God Bless Erika! 11:09am Called Scott back gave him the number and information he said my weight was 269 BMI 42.8 height 5 7 when I went to my first consult he said he would send the information over today!!!!!!!!! My present weight is 264 goes up and down 1 pound!! Im not mad cause I did the guys job I want the surgery I dont mind working a little to get it. I feel at ease because I had a hand in the process. Thanks for all of your support!:biggrin1: :biggrin1: Now I have to figure out the money to pay and what they cover whats billed and whats what!!!:eek:

1st Consult went well

11-10-06:biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: I was an hour late I got lost I couldnt find my way out of a one way bldg!!   Met with Dr. Rivas he was AWESOME!! His whole attitude was great! He gave me helpful information and he said I would be a perfect canidate for the surgery! I met with the diet lady she was cool she gave me a diet plan for pre-op and post-op and get this I dont have to do a strict pre-op diet. I met with the insurance lady she started off being mean but I killed her with kindness and she came to herself. I met the nurse she was so kind and soft spoken, she said she would be with me step by step. I left the office floating I cant even describe the feeling that came over me.   11-14-06:( Got a call from Scott the finance guy and he said I need to get more history from the pcp and ob-gyn.????? I left there thinking I had it all together and no one said anything about additional information. I got very upset that I didnt have it together, I didnt want to wait any longer for approval but I guess I have to.   11-15-06:nervous So far I have emailed the lady for more history at the OB. office now I have to call my doctor for my 8months trail diet crap! Not sure why that wasnt sent over from her with the referral?? I'm thinking maybe I should wait until Jan to get the surgery United Healtcare wont send me through all of this mess I hope not!!

I started with Praise and Worship all by myself!:clap2:   Of course work was so busy But I got caught up.:faint:   I had lunch with my new sista TammyJ hey girl!!!   breakfast-bottled water   lunch-soup :huytsao   snack-jello/water with Crystal Light   dinner-MORE SOUP with a mushy cracker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hungry:   exercise:20 mins of very fast walking:nervous   love you all thank you JESUS for YOUR everlasting LOVE for me!!!

Feelings, Questions, Emotions while waiting for approval....

:cool: 2:45pm My right eye is jumping *it's been doing that all day...:target: I called to see if I could get some some of the pre-op testing done I was told no. I have to wait until I get approved.:bathbaby: I thought about what I would look like at 200 pounds and I got excited! I think if it will put me at a size 16 or less *Im in a 20 right now* I guess my goal weight of 160 will put me in a 12/14 or 10/11 ??? Man I hope I dont lose all of my curves hips,juciy booty etc...... I wonder if my 44 G's will go flat *they are fluffy right now???* I wonder what kind of guys will try and go after me now??:nervous Will I still have strech marks on my tummy? I wonder if the inside of my thighs will still touch at 200 pounds or 160?? AM I crazy for wanting to know all of these answers????:biggrin1: :biggrin1:

update on weight loss

I'VE BEEN EXTRA AGGRAVATED FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS NOT SURE WHY BUT I HAVE....:scared:   I WENT TO SEE MY GYNO FOR REGULAR CHECK UP!! SHE DIDNT KNOW WHO I WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I GOT ON THE SCALE AND IT READ 245......   MY TOTAL LOSS IS 29 POUNDS IN 2 1/2 MONTHS!!!!   I'M VERY PROUD OF ME!!   HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE AND I WILL SEE YOU GUYS SOON!!!

Nutrition Class was ok

I was late as ususal they didnt want to let me in at first but I talked my way in. I needed to attend the class in order to get my 1st fill on Monday! I'm so excited about the fill! I have no restriction right now its been 5 weeks since I've been banned! I had lost 15 pounds as of the 22nd of March not sure what my weight is now. Kinda scared to find out, I've been eating like a nut. My water intake as increased and my bread intake has also. I know when I get my fill I will have restriction and I will lose weight! thanks for listening Cameron??? why??

GETTING CLOSER TO APPROVAL!!!

1-26-071:11pm Called to see if my Clinical information has been sent by Scott and to see if it is being reviewed. Spoke with Melisssa and she said she received information on the 24th at 11:39am she said I should know something by :D :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: FEBURARY 1st:D :D :D .   But make sure there are no exclusions in the policy…   Called UHC to make sure no exclusions 1:16pm spoke to Tyrone and he said there are no exclusions covered at 80% bmi exceed 40% or greater. He gave me a fax nbr that I didn’t need 801 567 5498.   SO THERE ARE NO EXCLUSIONS!!!!!!!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:   IM SHAKING LIKE A LEAF RIGHT NOW!!!:faint:IT FEELS LIKE IM GOING UP A VERY HIGH STEEP HILL ON A ROLLERCOSTER!!!!!!!!!!:omg: :biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1:   THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IM NOT GETTING ANY FROM MY MOTHER...I JUST TOLD HER THAT I WAS GETTING READY TO HAVE THIS DONE SHE SAID "you should just push away from the table" and I said "well its obvious that i can't and I need help I have to lose 102 pounds.." Vita Splash Drink Mix

Just wanted to let my family know that there is a AWESOME drink out made by Vita Splash its's in a purple and silver box a little larger than the Crystal Light box. The flavor is Raspberry Lemonade made it 5grams of Fiber Infusion for optimal body fuction, and yes it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just pour it in a bottle of water and shake and drink....It's surgar free not sure about the calories   Some of my church family is noticing my weightloss and that made me free good.
