So its been months since iv been on here, i guess i have been avoiding banders and well my band. I was banded 12/22/2009 i lost 35 lb then stopped getting fills i slowly started gaining my weight back and got fed up with the band about 3 weeks ago i got all the fluid released now im alomst back to where i was when i got banded. im going in for a fill on the 9th and ima try this again. Any words of encouragment or your stories would really help. =)

6 days post op and im feelin pretty good. I went to the gym yesterday and walked which felt great and i guess you could say i was feeling a bit ballsy so i made some egg salad ( 3 days before the doc says i can ) it went down fine and tasted yummy. Then i had half of a veggie burger and that went down fine i thought hey who needs stinkin liquids any more. Then it was my boyfriends mothers work christmas party....i wasnt even hungry. ok so i was banded two days ago. and when i went into the hospital my scale at home said i weighed 255.2lb and when i got up this morn is said 262lb someone please tell me that it is just water weight or something.:cursing:

I was banded yesterday!!!! the surgery only took 30 min. and the staff was awesome. didnt get any sleep last night i just dont like hospitals. Im home now tryin to take it easy and lovin the sugar free fudge pops. Thanks to everyone that wished me luck. I guess the really journey starts now. Thanks for the support im sure i will need much more in the future.

Well tomorrow is the big day! I cant wait. This liquid diet is kickin my butt, but i never gave in not once not even a nibble. It kinda empowering not giving into food. Knowing that resisting will be worth it and not obsessing or overeating. Its a strange feeling but a good one. Wish me luck!:cursing:

okay so its 930 and i just got up not a big deal but i went to bed at 730 last night. im on day 4 of pre op liquids and all i want to do is sleep is this normal? I dont know if it just lack of energy or if im depressed my surgery is the 22nd and im super excited i just wish i had something to do to occupy my time or distract me even. there are about a ton of things that need to be done around the house but i dont seem to have the energy to do any of them. Day 2 of pre opp liquid diet. Im not hungry but i have been craving carbs like crazy. Everytime i get bored i get up look in the fridge and realize im not hungry and if i was i couldnt eat haha wonder how long it will take to break this habit.
