Hello 2Fly. Congratulations! I really would like to know your secret. Do you weigh and measure your food? Do you exercise? Are you at restriction with your fills? How many fills do you have? I have already reached a plateau after only 6 weeks post op. I exercise, I do not eat as much although I do not have restriction. Any advice will be appreciated.

wow- way to go. I have followed your weightloss pictures for a while now and am really impressed and can't wait to be so excited. I have read some of your previous posts and can answer some of the previous posters questions because I have been so inspired by you!!! I know that 2FlyGuys measures every single meal in a 1/2 C glad bowl- those plastic disposible ones that you can use over and over. She concentrates on Protein and it keeps her full for 4-5 hours- she eats three times a day. Also- she works her butt off and runs 2 miles and power walks 4 miles- I don't know how often but I betcha it is close to 7 days a week. I think she was pretty structured from the minute she had her band and has been working hard for 9 months- not sure about when she felt she reached restriction or how many cc's she has or how big a band BUT I think she accomplished quite a bit on sheer willpower!!! You look great and thanks for sharing and providing some much needed motivation!!!!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
