Anyone watch "Guiding Light" - lap band

Recommended Posts

You guys might have already talked about this but I love to watch Caitlin Van Zandt on "Guiding Light". She had lap band in May of last year. She is exactly my height (but half my age) so I like to watch her progress. I'll take anything that keeps me going right now. I tend to be a little too hard on myself.

There's online videos if anyone wants to search on her. I left a message for her on Facebook to see if she has a blog. I doubt I get an answer but you never know.

I saw it the other day for the first time in a while and she's really looking good.

She's always been so pretty .

She seems to be doing well

Guiding Light is the only soap I watch. Been watching it off and on since I was 12. I record it on my DVR now so I never miss an episode. Caitlin looks like she's doing well. Do you know how much she's lost and how close she is to her goal?

The only thing I could find is that her goal is to be a size eight and she's not quite there yet. That doesn't really give us much info. It seems to show through that she's a really sweet girl and then I read that she's majoring in religion. I wish I could find a blog or something.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
