soda... maybe a solution for some

Recommended Posts

OK.... I was an avid Diet Coke drinker.... 6-8 a day at my peak of 345 (ironic huh!). Now I am post op 4 months, and down from 283 when i started pre op... now I am 241. I drink diet Snapple, coffee and Water with no issue. Every oncce and awhile I want someting in a can... I have found something that works great

Diet Mountain Dew

it already has little carbonation.... goes flat in about 10 mins of being opened and even when flat, tastes pretty decent.

Now, I am not drinking 10 a day... more like 1 or 2 aq week, but it is nice to have a soda once and awhile.

Just wanted to share... good luck to all!

high volume diet soda drinker - diet pepsi favorite

second day of 10 day pre-op now - op is 3/31/09

Arizona diet green tea seems good - zero everything except 10 grams sodium per 8 oz. Available in cans, bottles, and gallon jugs.

I love Crystal Light peach tea but my wife thinks aspartame is responsible for all illnesses, physical and mental, known to man.

Will probably use Arizona post-op.

saw "soda...maybe a solution for some" and thought I'd pop in, eventhough this is the mens room....I'm searching for a solution myself.

I go thru a 2 liter a day or almost...I just can't stop- especially now it's getting warmer outside. I'm sure it's mental but if I wasn't drinking the sodapop I'd drop weight really fast.

Okay, I'll leave the mens room now and try your suggestion. Diet Dew.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
