I had a rest day. My triceps were happy but my quads are still killing me. I think I may have to go to two rest days a week.

I don't think there is anything wrong with two rest days per week. No matter how hard I try to go beyond 5-days of exercise, I get physically drained and just cannot do it. So now, I gladly do 5-days EX and 2-days off.

Anyway, I think your doing great!!!!:tongue2:

Today: 2.20 miles on treadmill a cross between walking and jogging at 5% incline with free weights used intermittently.

I need a fill now!!!!!!!!!

I ran 2 miles yesterday and rested today. In all I ran/walked 40 miles in the past week. My body was screaming for a break today so I gave in.

Ran 28min, walked 10min.

I wore a short sleeve shirt and it was 53 and sunny out! Yeah!

Saturday - walked 35 minutes - well bundled up; it was minus 9 as the high!

Sunday - shoveled for a back breaking cardio-pumping 30 minutes

Today - 30 min on elliptical; 25 minutes biceps/chest workout - graduated to 8 pound weights!

Yes, any kind of exercise works. We motivate each other, so come join us.

Ok! Thanks guys! This is what I need!

I did work out that day too. I did the biggest loser work out on Exercise TV. Man, my legs are killing me!!! TOO many lunges!!! I only did about 10 mins.

I'll try to get something in today too.

Morning all!

Saturday - 30 min treadmill, 20 min lower body strength, 15 min elliptical

Sunday - 30 min treadmill, 20 min upper body strength, 15 min elliptical followed by 30 min of walking the dog with my mom in the pm.

Today I have a faculty meeting from 4-6 and my daughter has a dance performance from 7-9, so I am definitely taking a day off of exercise. Back at it tomorrow!

Yesterday afternoon, 2.25 miles on treadmill run. Followed up with 25 minutes on elliptical.

This morning was 35 minutes on elliptical. Followed that with 2 mile run on treadmill.

Sat: OFF

Sunday: chest/triceps

Today: Rest day. Back at it tomorrow.

Hello, i'm kind of new to the website and I love how it provides a lot of helpful information and you are able to talk to lots of people who have been in the same situation. I was banded in October and have since only lost about 22 lbs. I was kind of frustrated and because of my plantar faciitis I am hurting in my foot a lot and can't do that much exercising.. But I am having surgery on my foot on Wednesday and after that I am looking forward to getting out there and shedding more pounds!! Keep up the good work to all!!
