Banded on the 15th, getting better as each day goes by. No stool for 5 days. Anyone else like this? Plus how do I add the weight loss ticker to my name.:tongue_smilie:

Hi Kelly!

Congrats on getting banded! It's a great too as long as you work it! I tool had either no stole or completely loose stole until the day I started mushies. Honestly when you think about it if all your taking in is liquids then all your going to put out is liquids. So I think it's normal.

For the ticker go to Graphical Tickers and Trackers: Weight Loss, Trying To Conceive, Pregnancy... and create your ticker. Once you have it copy the BB code and under the User CP here edit your signature and add the BB code in there. Also don't forget what the pin was that you set for your ticker so that you can update it later on as you lose weight.

Pete, Kelly congrats on your band!

Pete, I've followed the edit signature instructions (several times) still unsuccessful.

I feel like an idiot, because I'm fairly computer savvy.

I've done the tickerfactory, but I cannot get it imbedded in my signature.

I've tried pasting the link in the URL text box (after trying to save the signature, it says "invalid file"), and also saving the image from the ticker website and pasting the pic.

Neither show up.

Oh well, color me stupid.

Ok, I was being an idiot. I re-read your instructions and finally the "BB code" stuck out, and then I found it and realized I pasted that code in the word pad, not the URL text box!

Thanks for your help! :-)

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
