CONFESSION TIME..spill it

Recommended Posts

That is my confession too! Even my own cooking, i've been using real butter and heavy cream. I forgot how yummy real mashed potatoes are. But I came into December thinking I will eat yummies and goodies and sweets, but of course in January I will get back on track. I even reminded my daughter this morning that January 1st we go back to chicken and good carbs, no more mashed potatoes. I haven't even weighed myself for about 2 wks, in order to not depress myself!

However, I notice that with my wonderful band, even though I'm eating all this yummy, delicious holiday food, I'm not eating nearly as much as I could have eaten last year.

confession: i just removed my SIL from Facebook, after only adding her christmas eve.

i just logged on and saw that my MIL & FIL joined and she had them added - no issues, but I'M NOT ADDING THEM. that's MY space and i don't want them to know what i'm doing or better yet what DH and I are doing.

the confession part - i could CARE less. i know my SIL will be hurt even after i explain why (she's part of all the drama - actually she claims to hate it ; but feeds MIL). i can't worry about that crap any longer - DH is done he says (YAHHHHHHH) finally!

on a side note: "we" did get a thank you email last night for the flatscreen.....as mentioned previously i did get a nice candle:sneaky:

TOTALLY understandable, Lulu. You should have drama-free zones like that. You're entitled. Light your new candle and meditate on it. :tongue_smilie:

ljm - as soon as i did it ; i got a confirmation that she would not be notified. if/when she realizes; she should know exactly why - and if not, can't help....not good at drawing.

I've got a new fave drink, Disarrono! OMG, for those who haven't tried this, don't. It is too good, so smooth. Hubby and I bought a bottle over the weekend before xmas, and have since finished 3 more bottles. And we usually aren't daily drinkers. I told him the other day we need to stop buying it, he said no, just restrict ourselves. LOL, yeah, right.

Then my boss gave me a bottle with a bottle of eggnog, lol. Well, like i keep saying...January 1st...

I also made mac and chz for my daughter 2nite with real cream and butter, to try to use it all up to get it out of the house.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
