Hey slimmy,

I am still about 50 lbs from goal, so I haven't thought about PS yet. I think I am going to wait and see what happens. I would like to try to get this skin to suck back up through exercise, if possible.

About 5 years ago I lost 100+ lbs and i had this apron of fat around my stomach that really irritated me. So I had plastic surgery then to have it removed. At that time, I was still quite heavy, but "normal" size for me and I weighed about 10 lbs more than I do now. Anyway, they removed 12 lbs of skin and fat at that time. It really helped because it was so lopsided, I couldn't fit into clothes and loose skin really hurt my back.

I don't know about AU doctors or prices. You have done great! Good luck!

Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor that your insurance may cover some of the expenses for certain areas where there is excessive fat, because the extra skin is considered a health risk.

I'm not at goal yet, I lost 70 pounds, and my goal is 12 more pounds, however, Depsite going to the gym, I do not believe the fat that is hanging off my arms and inner thighs are going to dissappear through working out.

Has anyone attempted to go through their insurance.

Hi, I just posted on another thread. Yes, my TT and breast reduction w/lift has been approved by my insurance company. My plastic surgeon and office personnel are just as surprised as I am! I am scheduled for April 2009.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
