OK...here goes nothing. I haven't posted in quite a while because I have been dealing with some real shit at home. A month ago I found out that my husband of almost 10 years has been having an affair for the last year and a half. :mad:That's right...while I was losing weight and looking great, that pig went out seeking an affair and here I was scared of how I would act after I started to get attention from others when I started to look nice. I am hurt:crying:, angry:mad2:, sad :cry_smile:, devastated:cursing:, sick and every other emotion (other than happy). I'm now on Xanax for my anxiety and I am completely obsessed with this crap. How can someone go out seeking an affair when they have a wife and two beautiful children? Do people care anymore? Do vows mean anything? What the hell is wrong with people? Of course now all of a sudden he wants the marriage to work. Well damn...you should have thought about that before porking the skank!!!! I want to freaken scream. I want to hurt them both. How the hell do people get on after things like this happen to them? Is it possible? We are in counseling, but should I even bother? Will he do it again? What about my kids? Damn...I need some serious help. This really sucks. I'm tired of crying. I'm tired of the chest pains and the anxiety. I want a fairy tale ended but unfortunately my marriage will NEVER be the same. I can never look at him the same way again. Do I give up and start my life over with my boys? Can someone wake me up from this horribe nightmare????? Why me? In the last year I have gone from a size 22/24 to a size 10/12 and I have lost 106 pounds. I thought that my husband was proud of me and thought that I was looking good...guess not, huh? Joke's on me!!!

WOW!!!! What a fantastic birthday. I wish I would have gotten online before this past weekend because I so would have told you guys where he's a bouncer because I was there ALL weekend. It's a restaurant/tiki bar in Maryland (Newburg). Saturday night the band sang happy birthday to me after midnight and Sunday was just off the hook...it was so crowded...it was an amazing time. I had a great birthday. One bit of drama though...I was waiting for him in the parking lot after hours (in my car...parked next to his) and some crazy chick came up and sat in her car in front of his...she eventually got out and put something on his windshield (a CD) and drove off like a bat out of hell...she was an ex-girlfriend who is pissed because I'm in the picture :sad: Anyway...he had to set her butt straight and tell her that if she contacted him again he would get a restraining order...she's pretty psycho...I was ready to go home cuz I told him that I didn't have room for any more drama in my life. He got pretty upset and said that I didn't have to worry about it...he would handle it...and he did!

So...happy birthday to me! I have a great man!!! :mad:

Ive had a couple of friends who cheated on their wifes or husbands. two worked it out and one couple divorced. i love my wife very much and would never cheat on her. god bless and good luck

Thanks for the reminder that not ALL men are like that - and you're right, men and women do cheat. We've seen stories on these boards about women who got thin because of the band, decided they needed a 'new man' to go with the new bod, and then cheated. They are just as wrong as the men who cheat.

Thanks also for holding up the banner for faithful husbands who do NOT cheat and who love their wives...you are definately not alone in that, and it helps sometimes for us (as women - the primary posters on this thread) to be reminded of that.

In fact, Tina has found a great guy this time around...my first marriage ended badly and my current hubby (my 2nd) is a good one as well. We have our issues periodically (what couple doesn't?) but the relationship is so good that it's worth working on them...which we do.
