The bodybugg was on sale yesterday at 24hourfitness for $199 but, it was supposedly a leap-year special. you might want to check it out, quite often the sale price shows up in the shopping cart after you checked it.

I received my BioTrainer yesterday. It looks pretty cool, only $50.00. I will try it for the first time today. I will let you know about that one. Go to BioTrainer Weight Loss System - measure physical activity and caloric burn to check it out.

Does anyone here know the difference in the BodyBugg and the BioTrainer? (Not ActiTrainer) I just received my BioTrainer and am now wondering about the BodyBugg.

I have the BodyBugg but don't use it anymore. I thought it would help motivate me to exercise more and eat less so that I could meet the goals that I'd set in the program, but it just didn't work for me.

After about a month of continuous use I knew how many calories I burn for each type of exercise I do. Since I consistently do the same things I know that on the days that I don't exercise I burn 1800 calories. On the days that I spin and walk the dogs I burn about 2400.

For me the reason that it didn't work is that I HATE to write down the foods that I eat. I did that for years before I had surgery......having said all that I hit a plateau and went back to WeightWatchers. For some reason I enjoy the calculations involved in calculating the FlexPoints.

I lost 5 pounds in my first week with WW so the plateau is over...yea!

Is the only way to wear the body bugg on your arm? I think it would be too obvious if you wanted to wear it all day. Aren't you supposed to wear it everyday...all day?

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
