Has anyone had this done in Massachusetts?

I'm looking into getting the lapband and was wondering if anyone has it done in Massachusetts. Where and with who?

Dr. Sandor @ Winchester Hospital.:)

He and his staff are great. They have support meetings the last wednesday of every month from 7-9pm @ Winchester Homecare (in a boardroom) off Swanton St. First hour is dedicated to newbies, 2nd hour is support for people who specifically had lapband surgery.

If you do a search on Commonwealth Surgical Associates, Stoneham MA and all his info/directions will come up.

I use Dr Haag at Baystate in Springfield. He gives absolutlely painless fills and always hits the port the first time with no wiggling. I have been 100% satisfied with him and his staff.:)

:thumbup:in norwood ma-- glasgow and glasgow they are soooooo great--anything you need they will take care of--any questions --they are great--i had my surgery in dec and i know three other people that have gone to them with great results---good luck

I can not say enough about all of them! they are amazing!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy i decided to go with them. I was banded 2/11...and it was an incredibly easy process and recovery. just about two weeks out and feelng great. Also cant say enough about mercy hospital staff! i was sooo nervous and they were just amazing.

Hi Mira! Fiallo did my surgery - he is great!!! Do you have your date yet?

Hope to hear from anyone who attended PVSA support meeting this past monday night. I am still pre-op just waiting any day for insurance approval. Curious to know how the post-op portion of the meeting was. We were given 'the boot' and sent home early so I was just wondering how things went.

I missed the meeting - I plan on going to the March one.

My surgery date is 6/19/09 and I am having it done at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Dr. Sillin is my surgeons name.

I had my surgery at Lahey too. Dr. Nepomastay was my surgeon. I had a quick recovery and no complications at all. You'll do fine!
