I tend to think the opposite...I would think it's however much you have LEFT. But I don't think it matters - who's going to kick anybody out? But I will say this...no offense, but when I get under 50 left, I'll be heading to the 25+ forum. I think it is a different mindset to only have 72 left to go as opposed to 103 left to go as I started out. Plus, if you look at the forums, the very last one is "at or near goal." If anybody was "at or near goal" when they got banded... ummm... That's all I'm sayin.

Anywho...72 more lbs to go! (23 until I revolt)

True don't think it really matters - guess up to individuals if they want to revolt (he he) or stay in the same group.

Steph, thinking about it I now think I would be with you about how things would be very different for a 100lbs to go and a lost 90lbs only have 10 to go person. Also I suppose changing groups could be seen as a mileston

I started this journey with 100 lbs to to drop, I am now sitting between 48-50. I think I will just pop in and out for a while and find out where I belong. I just know that I am very grateful for all the help and advice that I have gotten for everyone on this board. This "trip" has been soooo much easier with this forum.

Thanks all,

That's kind of what I was thinking, too. Kind of like graduating when you go through grades at school.

Also, we have forums for the different ages. I was banded in my 20's, but if I'm still around when I hit my 30's, I'll be moving to the 30's forum.

So glad to find this forum. This is my very first posting. Surgery planned for near future. But I have serious cold feet. I am at the point of just doin it or staying fat and shutting up about it. I am driving myself nuts. I don't have any support at home. I am sure this has lots of drawbacks. As I said glad to find you guys and will enjoy hearing your stories and following your achievements! Thanks, Lee Ann

I have 80 pounds to lose (could stretch that to 90 if I wanted to be called 'that skinny girl). I just had my 5th fill today and am not at that sweet spot yet. But with the holidays past, i AM going to start exercising. I AM, I AM, I AM!

I want to lose 10 pounds by Valentines day!

Lets get the ball rolling! :clap2:

I'm with ya coolgirl, I will join you on the 10 lbs by 2/14.

At work I am trying to form a team to join N-Lighten Nebraska. It runs from Feb 1 to May 1 and you team logs in point for activities and nutrition. At the end the top three teams will get medals. Including myself, we only have 4 people signed up (one guy doesn't work for our division, but he wanted to join anyway). Granted, there are only 5 full timers here, but am hoping for husbands/wives/s.o. to sign up also so we can have a team of 10.

I started out with 100+ to lose. Personally, I think it's kind of cool to be able to join a thread that is for ppl that have less than that to lose. I've never been able to do that! It's a head thing, I guess.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
