I am changing my June 28 is that close enough to July to be a group member? Right now I am day 4 of the liquid diet and am wondering can I do this… I am looking forward to the soft foods portion a month away… lol and when I can start having mashed things!!! And this is when I already fast all Saturday due to chronic pain… from an accident by a teen texter… it is a long story … but I know after the journey gets me to where I can walk again better And pain is less it will be worth it…

Hello and welcome! Your surgery day is coming soon. I envy you, actually. My date is July 27th. Looking forward to connecting with you! I also have some physical limitations and it's my health issues that motivated me to the sleeve. I was on the fence for a while on which surgery to have, but I settled on this one so far. Keep us posted on how you're doing. You CAN do this. You deserve to do this. You and I (and others) will be returning here in weeks and months to come to declare how happy we are we followed through. You got this! ?

My change is set for July 3rd, 2023. I have to check in at 5 AM. I am somewhat nerves. I have to be on a SF, low sodium diet for 14 days. Any encouragement out there?

July 20th for me! I am nervous and excited. I start my liquid diet while on vacation.

You got this! It won’t be easy, but it can’t be any harder than the road you have already traveled. Just keep thinking about the healthier, happier you on the other side!

@RedE2goAimee Thank you so much for the encouragement. You are so right. The path I had before this has caused a lot of negative things in my life. This life changing event will definitely be for my good.

Ooo you are Lenox Hill. Can you tell me what made you go there over others? I am just a habit person so I stuck with NYU but I heard great things and see you are doing DS. I am july 26th the SADI-S at NYU Brooklyn with Dr. Fareed Cheema and my original Sleeve was Dr. Bradley Scheck from NYU.
