I had surgery on Thursday, 7/20. I was there for pre-op at noon, went into surgery around 3pm, and was home by 9pm. I felt awful for the first four days, but things are starting to turn the corner. I’m getting down fluids and protein easier and even had butternut squash soup today. So good! I’m actually looking forward to purées.

My surgery was also on July 12th!

I had my surgery on July 12th, so I am 2 months post op, I find myself feeling cold more often and having occasional back pain, anyone else having these issues, also what are you eating at 2 months?

Hey July buddies! How is everyone doing? How's everyone feeling?

Hi there,

Generally doing okay but have had a couple of bad days where I’ve struggled with cramps and bloating. Drinking water going well but some foods still upset my tummy. Weight loss has been steady. Lost 26kg ( 57.2 lbs) since my surgery on the 17th of July. Have my 3 month check up soon.

Just did my 3 month check up yesterday (my actual 3 full months is on October 10th) ... I've lost 60 lbs since surgery day on July 10th... I've actually gained more muscle also (I've been lifting weights while on this journey.

I had a goal to lose 100lbs in the first 4 months but I'm satisfied with the path I'm on now.
