Hi there, Generally doing okay but have had a couple of bad days where I’ve struggled with cramps and bloating. Drinking water going well but some foods still upset my tummy. Weight loss has been steady. Lost 26kg ( 57.2 lbs) since my surgery on the 17th of July. Have my 3 month check up soon.

Monday the 17th. I had the Roux en Y procedure. Am home now. About to get up for a walk.

Hi All. Had my op on Monday and expecting to go home today. Fluids are a struggle but managed to have small yoghurt this morning. Pain is bearable but mostly looking forward to sleeping in a quiet place. Still waiting to see the physician and dietitian.

I like my clothes and am still holding on. I’ve lost weight before on diet so part of me still has that memory of giving stuff away only to buy bigger sizes again later when I regained my weight. But I know this will be different. I’m most looking forward to buying bras in a normal shop. I currently have to buy them online and they’re very expensive.

Hi All, New to this forum. My surgery date is 17 July. Nervous and excited. Also scared but ready to move on from obesity. I know it won’t be easy but I’ve thought about this for years and have support of my loved ones. Hoping for the best.
