Are you sure you are chewing well enough and not eating too fast. They can occur more often because of those things. For some people that is actually their full cue.

Yep, I had them all.the.time when I was early post-op. They slowly decreased in frequency and severity, but they are still my "full" queue, even a +year out. As soon as I hiccup, I know I'm done!

If I don't chew well or if I take one bite too many or eat too fast. It can be hiccup city for me. Otherwise, I don't get them. Early on I got them quite a bit as my body was adjusting and healing. Ex

Has anyone else gotten hiccups more often after surgery? I feel like I get them multiple times a day.
I know it all has to do with muscle spasms... so maybe the healing muscle is adjusting, but geez, I don't think I dealt with this after my C-sections.
