Hello everyone. Since post op day 5 I'm having a sore throat.. Have you experienced this too? It's making it difficult to keep up the intake?

it could be stomach acid coming up, are you on reflux medication?

It could also just be a sore throat which unfortunately was the first symptom my husband just had with COVID last week. I would get a test.

Yes, I am. Pepcid. On post op day 4 I was having reflux that came up in my mouth a few times when i burped..so maybe that's it.

if the Pepcid isn't doing the trick, let your clinic know. A lot of us are on PPI's (like omeprazole) the first 3-6 months after surgery.
